Am a huge fan of Jim Carrey & i very much fancy his shenanigan/mischievous style of acting, but this right here was totally epic in every proportion.

I've always known him to be a method actor, but this right here, was nothing short of outstanding and am totally impressed.
A thought provoking satire with lots of philosophical allegory, which highlights:
the obsession and intrusiveness people have on their celebrities, the media manipulation of our reality, realism vs fantasy, concept of freewill against a higher power.

It was truly a flawless masterpiece.

007 is basically a license to kill.

he wasn't assigned the code name initially. in my recollection, in his first missions, he didn't have the code name. it was only after he killed two people (including a bandit, it wasn't part of his mission to kill the bandit) in the course of his assignment that the head of the british secret service had had to officially designate him as agent 007.

it was to circumvent the usual bureaucratic red tapes some agents are subjected to after killing of non-targets in the course of their assignments. 007 protects him from the law.

there was a time they even stripped him of the 007, and assigned him 7777, but later it was given back to him.

i repeat, 007 and james bond are not one and the same. historically only one agent has ever been assigned 007 and that agent is james bond, but let's not forget it's just a code name. it can be taken away from him by the writers if they want to.

i know more about james bond than you bro.

Invisible man 2020 is a 5.5/10 for me. It started well but it had pacing issues. The ending was meh.

then, in the novel YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE, the 007 designation was temporarily taken from him.
