This is a good sequel to the first installment. The display of emotions, weakness, vulnerability, strength, helplessness and fear in Wonder woman was fantastic. I could not have asked for a different seque.

WW84 was advertised as a Superhero experience, therefore, the blame for failing to actualize its own projections lies strictly on the studio. Consumers dissatisfaction is completely excusable.

Having said that, I enjoyed the film.

Okay, the director of the WW84 movie decided not to do much action- no problem. However, the drama in the movie was not even good drama. The bad guy was a joke. A forgettable snake-oil salesman. The plot was ridiculously filled with plot holes and ra.pe. The ending was quite foolish and the bad guy got no comeuppance- apparently, crime pays.

Superhero experience doesn't directly imply a total action package. There was quite enough action sequences in the movie. The arguments I understand are those complaining that the action sequences in themselves were not satisfying. I don't really agree with that opinion but I can understand it.

Let's not kid ourselves, WW84 is a very flawed cinematic representation... but I don't overthink Superhero movies. I know they're within the boundaries of fantasy and thus, would be farcical to rationalize them in accordance with real life scenerios. Basically, I shut off my brain and tries to appreciate them for what they are. In a similar vein, I was able to appreciate WW84 for its pros, and ignore the cons.

My grouse with WW84 wasn't that the director failed with her attempt at adding "soul" to the movie; I mean Endgame had a lot of soul in it, but culminated in a wonderful fight scene.

My grouse with WW84 was that the final fight scene was yawn-inducing. After all the unnecessary elonagated storyline, the fight scene was just bleh. One of the worst fight scenes I've watched in a superhero movie in recent times.

I was too hyped for it hence my disappointment. I expected a lot more after the initial progress of its prequel.

I don't understand why you peeps keep crying bout the Action and ending in WW84. Patty Jenkins doesn't have OTT action/fight sequence as her strong suit. That's in the purview of Zack.

If the Original Wonder Woman is anything to go by, you'd have known Jenkins isn't too good with final battle or endings. She kinda messed up Ares final battle with Diana and fans weren't cool with it. That was even the major gripe of that movie.

I didn't overly expect much and I wasn't disappointed.
