Blue Eyed Samurai is not an anime movie

The Squad. 8/10

Really got me glued till the end. Had it in my system for long thought it'll be one of those poor storyline and boring movies.

Although, a low budget movie but cool storyline and directing too. The action scenes not bad as well.

What I've seen and liked

Forest Gump - Nothing to be said. Classic film.

Fight Club - I've watched this movie at least 20 times.

The Dark Knight - My all time favorite movie. I cannot say enough good things about this film. I was never a batman film but holy shit this forking movie is the god damn best thing ever.


V for Vendetta - Another movie with amazing story telling and character development. Natalie Portman and Stephen Fry are awesome in this.

Presently rewatching Inglourious Bastards because the recent discussions pages back activated my nostalgia and the dialogues are as orgasmic as the first time I watched it

Anatomy of a Fall-

Grueling, thought provoking and compelling.

For me, the star of this movie is Daniel. That kid is going to places if he continues like this. He carried the role with a maturity that is far beyond his years and I was simply captivated each time the camera captured his expressions and emotions.

It's a slow burn but worth the watch, for me.

To Kill A Mockingbird-

What can I say? A classic in its entirety.

When a film has a skilled director behind the camera, you can tell because different parts of the film will evoke different feelings in you as you watch it. I felt nothing at all for any of the characters in this shit, not even a passing concern. There's nothing here, even comedy is absent. The flaws in his action sequences were made evident by the excessive use of slow motion, which also degraded the overall experience.

The plot is non existent, and the dialogue sounds like something GPT-3 threw up during the beta test. There is nothing particularly remarkable about the cinematography; I have seen it combined with excellent storytelling in the past. Superb casting, but nothing challenging for any of them to do. After waiting for this mess to be resolved, dude brings the antagonist back to life and expects me to return for a follow-up so I can watch his ass get kicked again.
