Dygeasy: They Shouldn't Use The Vehicles For Commercial Purposes And The Vehicles Are To Help The Youths Gainfully Employed. God bless you brother. I was gonna ask the same question. Of what use is the vehicles if they can't use it to better their lot? Who will fuel the vehicles for these youths or fix it when it has issues? Misplaced priority. Bunch of idiots that lack the basic knowledge for a progressive system. How many cars has Fashola given out to Lagos youths? Mcheeeeew x I dey vex and boil the same time. I weep for my people. |

Lilimax: Is this the best way to empower the youths ?They know exactly what to do, but they are too selfish to do it. If they empower the youths today there won't be avenue for them to loot more. The more poverty in the land the more powerful they are. No be who get money dey fight govt? |

Okija_juju: Abia State governor shares Cars.. Non of them looks in the direction of agriculture and food production, animal raising, cottage industries, skills acquisition and craftsmanship. All they do is buy cars when the already existing transporters are not even feeding well... The guys that usually run umuahia-aba axis have been pushed out of business by ochendo hyundai coaster sized buses. Abeg, where is INNOSON in all this? Non of these buses were sourced from local manufacturers. I call this capital flight and embezzlement conduit. Simple and short... 1 Like |

During the trying times of kidnapping, de government did amnesty and we discussed with the kidnappers one-on-one and were discovered that all of them were youths, very young people and most of them told us their grievances. Some of them said it was because of lack of job, some mentioned family problems, some mentioned other problems. So the state got this idea that if you can get the youths together, particularly, those who are not doing anything and empower them, even if you cannot give them jobs because it is not easy to give all of them government jobs, you can at least give them skills, you can give them implements with which they can feed or fend for themselves. It was this encounter de governor would say increased his passion to take care of the youths, to make them to be useful to the society and to help us also to maintain the needed security and peace. |

Youth empowerment scheme in Abia state have always been a success and it has imparted positively on the lives of the youths. Most of them are self employed and have been able to support their respective families, which they cant do before |

I only feel sorry for weak people, What I’ve come to find is that the weak people are the ones that are the haters.Because T.A Orji is obviously one strong individual to be able to achieve what he has achieved. It is true that all the governors have their share of bad press ,so T.A is not an exemption but as for the effort he has made, and as for the things he has achieved in Abia state, they are second to none to compare to the past governors Abia has had. The Pied Piper isn’t fazed out though. They are the crtitic clowns entertaining the circus of politics . I don’t get into what people like that think of the governor because he is better than than what the haters make of him. |

T.A is a leader who is inteligent, he is neither hostile nor dominance. He is possesses the character of a leader that does not create deep-seated antagonism between his aides and his underlings . T.A ORJI is a leader who is ever ready to move Abia state forward with the little resources he as got from the federation, and he has been active in his administrative dealings |

ulonnaya21: Youth empowerment scheme in Abia state have always been a success and it has imparted positively on the lives of the youths. Most of them are self employed and have been able to support their respective families, which they cant do before Lol.. So you mean that giving Tokunbo cars to youths in Abia is the greatest legacy of T.A Orji... I really feel pity for Igbo land. A car.. Is not an investment. Never has been. Most of those cars would be off the roads in under one week. I saw it happen in Calabar live when people wrecked brand new cars in under 1 week. And in another 2 years, less than a good 60% of those cars would still have up to 30% of thier original value. Unu nyaba motor.. |

T.A Orji has brought in transformation, and the difference he has made is far greater than what i envisage in the beginning ,so with total consummation we will encourage him to observe continuity and be more clinical in avoidance of uneven disposition of democratic and political influence in order to balance energetic sense of purpose with a concern for the service of others... |

Is it me or do the people supporting T.A Orji on this thread sound Mechanical, void of emotions, vague and their posts seem like TV adverts or Computer generated posts?? Eg "T.A Orjii has been a blessing to the State. He's kind, Humble, Hardworking and is working hard to move the State Forward. God bless Ochendo"...........it makes me wanna ask "How" Because sharing Tokunbo cars that can't be used commercially isn't one. Their posts sound "Paid for"..............I may be wrong sha. |

It is clear that the few that are talking against good heart of empowerment are the people that have have benefited yet, but the truth is that T.A has turn around the economy of Abia state for better. This morning as a come into Umuahia town i see about four of the long AC buses for school children. No governor from the creation of Abia has done so greatly as T.A. Developing our educational sector is top on our priority. Providing conducive environment for learning is a commitment we have made and what we owe every school age child in Abia State. But our current commitment is stronger than any time. We shall continue to improve the infrastructures in our schools. We shall equally commit ourselves to improving gender equality in primary, secondary and tertiary education while sustaining the free tuition and free bus to school scheme for primary and secondary children in the State. Today, I took some time out from other official duties to visit some of the projects we are carrying out across the State's educational sector. From School Road Primary School, Afuguri Central School, Ahiaeke Primary, Ahieke Community Secondary School to the Pretigious Government College Umuahia. In all of these Schools visited, I observed a lot of improvement in the development of modern structures and facilities that will enhance learning and development of every School age child in the State. For me, Every kobo budgeted for education in Abia State must be fully utilized for the development of our schools...There is no room to allow our children learn under harsh condition. T.A.O

People are being maopic, what is wrong in given out cars to help the youth ? The only thing I know about weak minds are their aspersion which they always harangue around with in an attempt to malign the state government and her interest on the citizenry....I will always support the state government for their effort that they have made so far through this scheme...carry on Ochendo |

This is to inform the good people of Abia state that there is a bogus news been projected by some miscreants and weak minds which has it that the Abia state youth empowerment scheme is not designed to benefit the youth ,rather that any staged benefactor would have paid a certain sum of money before been empowered with a vehicle...Such sham account or information should be ignored because the state government is not collecting any amount of money from beneficiary and never designed the scheme in that order. The truth remains that it is purely an empowerment programme designed to assist the youth in Abia state and the government of Abis state and the organizers would never collect money from beneficiary in any way.So my good people, ignore any such fake news because it is purely cheap propaganda emanating from enemies of great achievement of the present government lead by Chief T.A Orji.Abia ga na aga niru... |

The governor of Abia state has been of great standing in his work in making Abia sate truly number 1,if you are here to disseminate wrong and bogus information, you are definitely backing the wrong horse and i think you lack sense of judgment ...let us not be lead astray ,for we all know that Abia of before can not be compared to Abia of now in any way,we have seen greater work done by T.A that can not be compared to the late Orji Uzor kalu's administration...T.A has transformed ABia beyond every reasonable doubt... |
