Speaking with tongues and speaking in tongues



All I do hear from the Pentecostal Christians is the expression "
speak(ing) in tongues" . That is what I know and what many are
aware of. That is what is used while preaching. I use the
expression also.

Some questions asked with it are: can you speak in tongues?
Can you pray in tongues? Can you sing in tongues? Did Jesus
speak in tongues ? Etc
But I found it surprising that there is no such expression in the
Bible. All I could find is "speak with tongues" or "speak with
other tongues" as in Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the
Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit
gave them utterance.


Taking a search through Google all you find is -speaking in
tongues or -speak in tongues.

You will find out that what we all know is speak one of tongues and

is/are there no difference(s) between speaking IN tongues and
speaking WITH tongues
