I want to share with you a new program from Airtel Nigeria which now enables Airtel subscribers to borrow airtime from Airtel Network to make calls to any network and pay back when he/she is in position to do so. We should not forget that Airtel is one of the best leading telecommunication networks in Nigeria as for today.


How Does This Benefit Us


This is a welcome development in Airtel Nigeria telecommunication network, in my own view it is a good idea to have a chance to borrow airtime from our telecommunication network providers because sometimes we may not have enough money at a particular given time to purchase enough airtime to call everyone we wish to call.


Secondly, in some areas in Nigeria it is very difficult to see people selling Airtel recharge card voucher. Just imagine if you are an Airtel subscriber and you visited such an area having in your mind to buy Airtel recharge card voucher there, don’t you see that you will be very disappointed if you realize that you cannot see where to buy Airtel recharge card voucher around that area but with this new program from Airtel Nigeria, what you have to do is to request for airtime from Airtel and your account will be credited immediately.


How Does It Work

On this program, you are allowed to borrow any amount you like but the maximum amount you are allowed to borrow is one thousand naira (N1, 000) and you will pay 10% interest on any amount you borrow.
For example, if you request to borrow N500, you will receive N450 because Airtel will deduct 10% interest which is N50.
If you request for N100, you will receive N90 due to 10% interest.
If you request for N1, 000, you will receive N900 due to 10% interest.


How to Request To Borrow Airtime


If you want to borrow airtime from Airtel it is very simple to do, just dial *500*amount#. "Amount" is the how much airtime you want to borrow.
for example, if you want to borrow N100, dial *500*100#.


NOTE: If you borrow airtime from Airtel, any recharge you make Airtel will collect back the money which you borrowed from them.
