No dear,we did like 5 skirts we did trouser,we did several free tops using the basic front and back bodies and different neck lines,we were on the last one when the site crashed.we had over 40+ pages which was cut down to just 4,but its all good don't worry I will still visit those topics /od willing for the sake of new folks here.

We did about 5 types of skirt b4. And I know that for some going all the way back to those skirt might be boring true, but I found a solution to that.

We will talk a little about the 5 basic blocks then we would look at the different skirts again but while we making the skirt those that are very advanced in sewing can make dresses using the different skirts to form the under part of the dress from the waist this way every body wins

Here we go .

Starting with the 5 basic blocks.its believed that our clothing should cover our body and so 5 areas have been identified as the major parts that should be covered

1, chest 2,back 3,arm 4 front part bombom ,5 back bombom

In the above diagram all the body parts are placed on fold.

When they are spread open they look like this.




Also the principle of the 5 basic blocks applies to male and female outfit.

Its very important to note that the number of blocks on an outfit sometimes determines they type of name its called.


Eg tops...... are called that coz they cover the upper part of our body.

an outfit with no sleeve block is called sleeveless
