PLATEAU: Average
KADUNA: poor
LAGOS: Average
OYO: Average
EKITI: Good
Gombe: Good
Edo: fair
Delta: fair

Everything I saw in Akwa Ibom in 2013 were already there in 2012 and even 2011..

What did Akpabio do in 2013?! Thats the question here.. And as a regular visitor to Akwa Ibom State, I cant really say I have seen as much improvement this year like the previous years..

Why the attacks?!


We are not judging these governors on their overall performance but on what they did in 2013..

All the States I listed are States that I am well conversant with. States that I have visited steadily over the last 4 years. Infact, I forgot to add Cross Rivers State to the list.. And I would have rated Liyel Imoke Abysmally Poor. Because Cross Rivers Looks pretty much the same. Seems like all he did was pay salaries and organize the Carnival..

Those attacking me, here are my criteria for judging;

1. Amaechi Rotimi (Rivers) - Faced the greatest political opposition of all Governors in the Country. Lost his house of Assembly. Lost Security control of his State. Had his allocation from the F.G slashed greatly (and even witheld atimes). Yet has somehow managed to forge ahead with his plans. New Schools, Healthcare Centres, Roads and Bridges were commissioned, built and .... this year 2013.

2. Akpabio Godswill (Akwa Ibom) - Great governor based on overall grading but in 2013, seemed to be more pre-occupied with being President Jonathan attack dog against the G7 Governors. Not much has Changed in Akwa Ibom State in 2013. The ongoing Projects are either still where they were in 2012, or are progressing at a ridiculously slow pace. For the amount of money Akwa Ibom gets especially after taking all the Oil Wells from Cross Rivers State and some from Rivers State, Much more was expected..

3. Rochas Okorocha (Imo State) - Said so much, did so little in 2013. Can the People of Imo State list the achivements of Rochas in the year 2013.. The Owerri - PH road which is being built by Arab Contractors is progressing at a slow pace and is also a Federal Government road and lest I forget, the quality of that road is very poor.. I have visited Owerri severally and a few other villlages in Imo State over the cause of 2013 and I cant see any reason to rate Rochas High. The flyover that has been abandoned in the State for God knows how long is still like that. Education, Healthcare, Security, Electricity, e.t.c.. All FAILS..

4. Fashola Raji (Lagos State) - I gave an Average rating because though he performed, he didnt really deliver any game changing Project in 2013. And I have been living in Lagos since June of this year.

5. Obi Peter (Anambra State) - Like seriously, What is there to rate abeg?! Shared alot of money via cheques in 2013. Violated the public Procurement act severally in 2013. Shared alot of Cars in 2013. whatelse?!


You dont have to agree with me as this is a subjective discussion. Whilst some of you would consider Theodore Orjis sharing of 1000 second hand cars to Abia youths as a great achivement worthy of a good governance title, I see it as retarded and wasteful and we would both be right depending of what side of the coin you are looking at.

Except you have visited all the states of the federation and have a proper table of works done/achievements weighted against the same factors, then this list remains our individual opinions. SOme of you need to learn how to hold a discussion on Nairaland..

Amaechi too didn't do anything worthwhile in 2012-2013, just wasting money on frivolous politics and selfish interests.
