Spending New Year Eve In Church: Myth Or Choice? by dacrystal01(m): 7:58am On Jan 01, 2014
Owkay, first of all, I wish all nairalnaders a happy new year. May all ur plans come to fruition this very year.

Now, something that I've always pondered in my heart is the fact that december 31st of every year has the highest number of church goers, as both devout and non devout christians, muslims and even atheists (I dare say) flock to the church. As to commence the new year with God.

My question is, is it a compulsory thing to do or is it just a personal choice. Some pple leave their bottles of alcohol and rush into d next available church @ a few minutes to 12am(actually witnessed this one) only to flock out immediately after shouting "Happy New Year"

Does it mean the year will not be good if pple do not shout happy new year in church?

Or is it even written anywhere in the bible that one must do this?

All these and more baffle me a lot.

I welcome Ideas and contributions from the religious gurus and everybody. Please don't insult me oh... Lol
HAPPY NEW YEAR once again
