@ OP, it depends on the scale of management you are refering to. Financial management in terms of investment fund differs from managing scarce resources at home.
While the first aims to optimise profit in an ever changing investment climate,the second deals with coping with monetary constraint in satisfying repeative needs like food,clothing,chldren welfare. Men outperform women at the first,while women do much better at the later.

Honestly,it is males who manage money better.Even from youthful age,guys learn to hustle,hence the tendency to manage what the've worked hard for.But in most homes(married couples),its the woman who does the finance management better.Trust me,when kids come into the picture,no be person go teach u money management.

Danhumprey: If not for the fact that most of them are too materialistic when it comes to money,I'd give it to the women. Unlike men,who are free-spending. My Mom is a good example. She would ensure that you account upto the last kobo of the money she gave you. She is a no-nonsense person when it comes to money and finance.
