Great Reward

"Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets." (Luke 6:23)

Sometimes great rewards are promised to those who help locate dangerous criminals, or to those who win a lottery, but such pecuniary rewards are trivial compared to those awaiting all the faithful servants of Christ. The "great reward" promised by Christ in our text is specifically for those believers who willingly have endured hatred and ostracism, reproach, and slander "for the Son of man's sake" (v. 22).

Such rewards are distinct from salvation, of course, for that reward is given only "to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly" (Romans 4:5). "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour" (Titus 3:5-6).

That is, salvation is a free gift, received only through personal faith in Christ and His sacrificial death for our sins. Rewards, on the other hand, are earned by faithful witness and work for Christ. In that day when "we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ" (2 Corinthians 5:10), many will learn to their dismay that, although they have indeed received everlasting life, they will have very little reward. For "the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is" (1 Corinthians 3:13)--not the quantity, but its quality and fidelity to God's Word. Then, "if any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved" (v. 15).

We need to remember that one of the last and thus most significant promises of Christ was: "Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be" (Revelation 22:12). HMM

An End-Time-Vision, important

While trying to prepare my message, the Lord showed me a vision.

I saw a large pasture with very many sheep. All of a sudden, from
every direction and from all over, came wolves upon the herd, mixing
themselves amongst the sheep. Neither the shepherds nor the shepherd
dogs (of utmost importance) sounded any alarm.
They lay on the floor as if hypnotized.
There was just a bit of panic within the herd.
The sheep did notice that something was wrong, but they took no serious note
of what was happening. They just continued grazing in a relaxed manner.
The shepherds and the shepherd dogs on the other hand noticed nothing.

As I observed closely, I saw the wolves, which had fangs like
snakes in their mouths, tweak (pinch or prick) the sheep on their buttocks.
These twitched briefly, and then continued their relaxed grazing.
After a short while, the wolves ran from the herd, withdrawing themselves
again into the mountains, without having stolen a sheep or inflicted any
visible harm on them.

On seeing all these things, I thought to myself. ‘This is not at all possible,
that wolves would come amongst sheep and not harm them. This is out of
character! Then as the wolves left the sheep, I saw all of a sudden the
leader of the wolf pack, together with his whole wolf followership on a high
cliff. It was like a great beast; a monster.
Then the wolves began to howl and yelp.
The shepherd, shepherd dogs and all the sheep were terrified, shivering and
shocked.

And the leader of the pack began, like a demon, to speak with a deep human
voice. “My dear shepherds, dogs and all my dear sheep. You now belong to us.
We have you completely in our hands.
We were amongst you, without your noticing anything. We worked
amongst you in disguise. We even inoculated you with a "serum" that makes you
now ours. You are all, as at now, bearing our “mark”.
We have also inoculated you with our spirit and data, without your having been
aware. There is now no more escape for you. The whole flock is now under our
control.

I then said in my spirit “No! The Lord is my shepherd. I will have nothing to
do with the devil and his demons. I will not have them as my shepherds”.
Then spoke the leader of the wolf pack even further with a sneer on his face,
saying “the sheep here ate and slept. Your bellies and welfare was
more important to you.

Now hear what this demon said to me very clearly: We have now come to take
revenge for our man of the Gadarenes. (See Mark 5:1-17) Back then, your Lord
cast us out of him, and we had to flee into sweine and spring into the abyss.
Now though, we have recovered and are strong enough to leave our
cursed dwellings again. We have therefore returned from the abyss to take
revenge against him (Jesus) and his works. These sheep all grazing here have
been infected by our demons from the abyss. They can no longer escape.
They belong to us absolutely.

I was shocked!

Here, God spoke to me saying ‘my son, every person will be asked
to compulsorily take immunization against the swine flu in the next few days.
This is a disguise. They will in the process be infected with demons from the
abyss; all who do not have my spirit and my seal upon them.
Yes, it will be such that that they will receive a deadly spirit inoculated
into them. This will allow the wolves do with them what they like.
Whoever does not follow them, antagonises or stands against them in any way,
will be eliminated at the touch of a button.

For such will there be no more escape from them.
Yes it is true, my son says the Lord. These cursed spirits will arise again
out of the abyss and return through the ‘swine’ to continue their mischief
amongst the people who neither know nor follow me. I however, with my church
will do same as then. We will depart from that area. So will those demons
from the abyss exterminate one third of humanity.

Then said the Lord to me further.
But you, my children, who follow me, must be bold and brave, and say NO!
Do not allow yourselves to be pricked and inoculated.
You must consistently trust me.
I will take you with me to the other shore, and we will continue there.
For you my children, life goes on quite normally.
You are my sheep. You hear my voice and follow me. And I send you as sheep
amongst wolves. Warn all my children and all men of good will against this
worldwide compulsory inoculation. It appears harmless. It is not!

It is more the return on the ancient demons of the abyss. Warn everyone!
Even when you are termed “paranoid” and “terrorist”. You are my children,
and my people. You are holy. You should therefore have no other ‘stigma’ in
your bodies. Your body is a temple for my holy spirit, and not a secret
dwelling for demons, which had been cast out by me, from which I delivered
you, says the Lord. I am passing on this message as it was given me.

Dear friends,we are right in the end times. Watch quite carefully, what
happens to you and your children. The devil is, and remains a liar. Und he has
no good intentions. I was shaken, when God showed me this vision with the
swine, in connection with the whole thing about immunization against swine
flu.

The believers are about to undergo the end times test, where will be shown,
whether we have enough resistance power, enough to say NO.
You are not defenceless. God gave you his Holy Spirit and the whole armour
(see Ephesians 6: 16-17). These you will now need and must soon make use of.
If you are not yet a true child of God, repent! Be baptized and be filled the
Holy Spirit, so that the seal of God will be upon your life
(Ephesians 1:1,13, 4:30 and Revelations 7:3&4) and you cannot be touched for
the devil.

"Why could not we cast him out?" The answer lies in a personal relationship to Jesus Christ. This kind can come forth by nothing but by concentration and redoubled concentration on Him. We can ever remain powerless, as were the disciples, by trying to do God's work not in concentration on His power, but by ideas drawn from our own temperament. We slander God by our very eagerness to work for Him without knowing Him.

You are brought face to face with a difficult case and nothing happens externally, and yet you know that emancipation will be given because you are concentrated on Jesus Christ. This is your line of service - to see that there is nothing between Jesus and yourself. Is there? If there is, you must get through it, not by ignoring it in irritation, or by mounting up, but by facing it and getting through it into the presence of Jesus Christ, then that very thing, and all you have been through in connection with it, will glorify Jesus Christ in a way you will never know till you see Him face to face.

We must be able to mount up with wings as eagles; but we must also know how to come down. The power of the saint lies in the coming down and the living down. "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me," said Paul, and the things he referred to were mostly humiliating things. It is in our power to refuse to be humiliated and to say - "No, thank you, I much prefer to be on the mountain top with God." Can I face things as they actually are in the light of the reality of Jesus Christ, or do things as they are efface altogether my faith in Him, and put me into a panic?

Behold, He Cometh
October 4, 2009

"Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him." (Revelation 1:7)

This striking verse, which deals with the return of Christ, contains several aspects well worth our study.

First: "Behold, he cometh." This event is still future, but it is as sure as if it had already taken place.  Christ will return.

Second: "They shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory" (Matthew 24:30).  His coming "with clouds" was also prophesied in Daniel 7:13, Matthew 26:64, Acts 1:11, and elsewhere.

Third: "Every eye shall see him."  Who is included here? Certainly everyone living at the time, both Christian and non-Christian.  But also the saved dead and raptured saints will be present (1 Thessalonians 4:17).  Can it be that the unsaved dead will likewise "see" Him come? Those who died without Christ should be vitally interested.  Either the coming rebellion will defeat Christ and free their spirits from Hades, or they will soon face certain, final judgment.

Fourth, notice the different reactions.  His tormentors will be in horrible distress; those who "pierced him" will be in inexpressible anguish as they realise the awful consequences of their actions. Who pierced Him? Certainly Israel, but the collective sins of all men of all ages pierced Him.  Some have gained forgiveness and will gladly see Him come; others have refused and will "wail" at His return.

Saints in heaven and on earth will delight in His coming.  To them, it means release from persecution, justice on their persecutors, and a righteous kingdom established.  It will mean questions answered, imperfections removed, the curse repealed.  Any distress felt for friends and loved ones still living in rejection will be swallowed up in the rightness of the action. The Divine Nature of God

It was Moses who sought to know the Glory of God. It was God who proclaimed His goodness and revealed to Moses the nature of His being, which was that He is abundant in goodness and truth.

Ex. 34:6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth 7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the children’s children, to the third and to the fourth generation.

In the Psalms we see the nature of God expressed.

Ps 145:8 The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

God is not just compassionate, He is FULL of compassion. An attribute of His nature that is the basis for His dealings with men. When you contact or bump into something, whatever it is full of spills out. We see this in people full of anger, bumping into a person full of anger causes anger to spill out . In the ministry of Jesus we see this principle wherever he went. The compassion of God rose up within Him in many situations He faced and He responded with divine authority according to the divine compassion that overflowed from Him.

Christ (the Anointed one) Walked Fully in BOTH the Divine Nature and Divine Authority of God
In Jesus we see divine compassion (love) that moved Him to exercise His divine authority.

Matt. 9:36 Jesus has compassion on the people and sends out the disciples with authority to cast out Devils and heal the sick.
Matt 14:14 Jesus has compassion and heals the sick.
Matt. 15:32 Jesus has compassion and feeds the multitudes.
Matt 20:34 Jesus has compassion and heals two blind men.
Mark 1:41 Jesus has compassion and heals the leper.
Luke 7:13 Jesus has compassion and raises the widows son from the dead.
John 11:35 Jesus weeps and then raises Lazarus


While not every miracle Jesus did has His compassion recorded as preceding it,
we can see a pattern of motivation on the part of the Lord for exercising divine authority to touch people with His mercy.
This mode of ministry does not line up with many ministry models in this present day.

Continue:

Divine authority bereft of the Divine Nature of God.
It is possible to walk in the divine authority of God and perform miracles and healings without partaking of the divine nature of God.
I would challenge you that MUCH of the divine authority expressed today is done apart from the motivation of the divine nature of God.
Jesus said it like this:

Matt. 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils?
and in your name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess to them, I never knew you:
depart from me, you that work iniquity (lawlessness).

Jesus is telling these who have exerted divine authority that He never knew them. In effect :
You did not partake of my nature and do what was on my heart.
Doing His works apart from His heart is considered iniquity. (Greek = Without law)

Even Jesus's disciples did not understand the divine nature of God until after Pentecost.
Luke 9:54-55 James and John want to call fire from heaven and consume the Samaritans,
and Jesus rebuked them saying " You do not know what manner (nature) of spirit you are of"

I Cor. 13:1-8 Clearly speaks of the things that are done; prophesy, tongues, moving mountains, etc.
But all these things are meaningless apart from love.


Change is Coming
God is raising up genuine apostles that walk in both the divine nature and divine authority of the Lord.
Once again the defining aspect of the Body of Christ will be LOVE.
Divine Love that expresses itself with the divine authority of God to touch people with the mercy of God.
For by this Love all men will know we are His.

Faith is the Victory

"For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?." (1 John 5:4-5)

The favorite hymn from the last century entitled "Faith Is the Victory" contains many allusions to scriptural concepts and passages.  The theme, as is repeated in the chorus, is "faith is the victory, . . . O glorious victory, that overcomes the world."

The primary passage used for the source of this hymn is in our text, where we see that it is the Christian--the one "born of God"--[/i]who [i]"believeth that Jesus is the Son of God" who "overcomes the world." The victory comes through faith.

Encamped along the hills of light, Ye Christian soldiers rise,
And press the battle ere the night, Shall veil the glowing skies.
Against the foe in vales below Let all our strength be hurled;
Faith is the victory, we know, That overcomes the world.

This first verse harks back to several battles in the Old Testament where Israel, through faith in God, conquered many foes greater in number and better equipped than they. But the symbolism goes further. The word for "world" is the Greek word kosmos, implying, in context, the world system of thought arrayed in opposition to God.  "We know that we are of God, and the whole world |i.e., kosmos| lieth in wickedness" (1 John 5:19).

Strangely enough, Scripture here does not say that through faith we will overcome and gain the victory.  Rather, it explains that faith itself is the victory.  Evidently, with victorious faith, the overcoming is automatic.

"Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4). JDM

The Greatest Need

Beloved, there is a great move of God coming, and it will be love. For if we give everything we own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but don't have love, we've gotten nowhere. Love is the greatest human need; until that need is met, it's impossible for people to have life, abundantly. They may think they have life. They may try many vices to fill the cracks in their hearts—another spouse, another sport, another degree. Or, an addiction that demands more and more, but contains an unattainable goal established by hell. But even as sin abounds, amazing, saving grace is drawing the sinners to the Life-giver.

Love is really the only option, you know. For: "The one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen" (1 John 4:20). Think about it—we cannot even fathom, nor would we want to, a God who stops loving, and He calls us to be imitators of Him—so we cannot stop loving.

Love is the greatest force on earth, as it is in Heaven. It never fails. It overpowers all elements on earth—hurricanes, nuclear power, fire and gross darkness. Amazing, how the spikes truly did not hold Jesus on the Cross, for He could have called ten thousand angels. Love held Him there. How incomprehensible—a person, fully God/fully man, was prepared to die for the sin of the world. Are we?

In this hour God is preparing His Bride, and what does a bride do? LOVES! Now we might ask, What does that love look like? Well, the Lord has made it a piece of cake for us.

Love never gives up

It cares more for others than for self

It doesn't want what it doesn't have

It doesn't strut

It doesn't have a swelled head

It doesn't force itself on others

It isn't always "me first"

It doesn't fly off the handle

It doesn't keep score of the sins of others

It doesn't revel when others grovel

It takes pleasure in the flowering of truth

It puts up with anything

It trusts God always

It always looks for the best

It never looks back, but keeps going to the end

Faith: Our Shining Shield

"Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.." (Ephesians 6:16)

The second verse of the hymn "Faith Is the Victory," reflecting the teaching of 1 John 5:4, depicts the soldiers of light as they march into battle.  Our Commander-in-Chief has erected His identifying banner over the troops and His "banner over [us] is love" (Song of Solomon 2:4).  How does love identify us? "For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments" (1 John 5:3).  "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another" (John 13:35).

His banner over us is love, Our sword the Word of God;
We tread the road the saints above, With shouts of triumph trod.
By faith they like a whirl-wind's breath, Swept on o'er every field;
The faith by which they conquered death, Is still our shining shield.

The saints of yesteryear, who in faith have battled victoriously, give us great confidence. "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith" (Hebrews 12:1-2).

Their armour, and ours, is listed in the classic passage of Ephesians 6:10-18.  Our sword, identified as the "word of God" (v. 17), is "quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword" (Hebrews 4:12).  Our faith is our shield (as in our text) which protects us from the wicked one.

But it's not over until it's over, and "the last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. . . . Death is swallowed up in victory" (1 Corinthians 15:26, 54).  When it's over, our faith in the work and person of our Lord Jesus Christ will have provided a glorious and everlasting victory. JDM

Onward to the Fray!

"And it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city." (Joshua 6:20)

The third verse of the hymn "Faith Is the Victory" portrays the attack-phase of the battle.  The foe stands in dread array, also poised for the fight.  The prepared troops attack without hesitation, with a well-formulated battle plan.

On every hand the foe we find, Drawn up in dread array;
Let tents of ease be left behind, And onward to the fray!
Salvation's helmet on each head, With truth all girt about:
The earth shall tremble 'neath our tread, And echo with our shout.

This last line recalls the episode in our text.  The entire nation of Israel had marched for six days around the city of Jericho.  On the seventh day they marched around the city seven times, and then the priests blew their trumpets and the people shouted.  What kind of battle plan was that?  But God had specifically instructed them to do it this way.  They had seen Him work many stupendous miracles on their behalf and their faith was great.  Their unwavering obedience resulted in a glorious victory.

Today's warriors of faith have the same Commander-in-Chief, and access to His mighty power.  Furthermore, He provides the "whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth" (Ephesians 6:13-14).  Faith must be faith in the truth.  Faith in a lie will not stand.  "And take |literally 'receive'| the helmet of salvation" (v. 17).  Each warrior, saved "by grace . . . through faith" (2:, immersed in truth and obedient to the Commander, is assured of complete and overwhelming victory. An exhortation from the Father's heart to yours: Wasted Years

Many in My church have wasted years that they lived ashamed to recall. The years that were wasted on wanton living are gone, and while it is true that they can never be lived over again, I know how to take the broken pieces of your life and fit them back together making something much more beautiful than it was originally.

When I take the broken pieces of your life and put them together, says the Lord, you will know it is Me because you have tried for years to fix yourself without success. Many ask Me, "Why would You even want my life, God? I have made such a mess of it." This is true. When I Am not made Lord (Master) of one's life, most make mistakes that cause irreparable damage. However, I Am a God who can create worlds with a word. I can take the mess, as it is submitted to Me, and make something not only beautiful, but of great value. I can cause a vessel that was once broken beyond repair and make it into a vessel of honor fit for the Master's use. I can take an "unviable mass" and create life beyond your ability to express its beauty.

So do not go around the desert mountain again and again living in regret for the mistakes of your wasted years. Come to Me, Beloved for behold I make all things new! If you release the wasted years to Me, you will see how I will glean a harvest from them. Nothing is wasted in My kingdom.

THE DECEPTIVE MIRACLE-WORKING FALSE PROPHET
Revelation 13:11-18

As the tyranny and oppression of political power will reach their climax in the great Tribulation, so will the deception and persecution of false religion.  The Antichrist will be the political leader while the false prophet will be the religious leader.  Revelation 13:1-10 reveals the rise of the first beast, the Antichrist, out of the sea, that is, out of the raging, tumultuous sea of chaotic humanity.  This great final tyrant, the Antichrist, will rise to rule over the whole world with the authority and power of the dragon, the Devil.  The second beast “comes up out of the earth” and he is identified as the false prophet (Revelation 16:13; 19:20; 20:10).  The dragon, the first beast and the second beast, that is, Satan, the Antichrist and the False Prophet will work closely together during the great Tribulation.  This unholy trio will try to counterfeit the Holy Trinity.  The Dragon is Anti-God (Revelation 12:3,4,9), the first beast is Anti-Christ, the son of perdition (Revelation 13:4-7; 2 Thessalonians 2:3,4) and the second beast is Anti-Spirit (Revelation 13:11-15).  Satan is the master counterfeiter — with a grand purpose and plan to deceive all men.  The main function of the Holy Spirit is to direct praise to the person of Christ. The False Prophet’s major function is to direct the worship of the people to the Antichrist, who is the second person in the unholy trio.

1. THE DESCRIPTION AND PORTRAIT OF THE FALSE PROPHET
Revelation 13:11,12; Matthew 7:15; 2 Corinthians 11:13-15; Revelation 16:13,14; Daniel 8:3,4; Matthew 24:21-26; 1 John 2:18; 4:1.

“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth.”  Personal attributes are ascribed to “the Beast” — speaking, exercising power, influencing people, doing great wonders before people, and deceiving them that dwell on the earth.  “And he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.”  Looking like a lamb, he has the voice of a dragon.  To deceive the world, he puts on the pleasing personality and calmness of a lamb, but in reality, has the nature and wickedness of Satan, the dragon.  The False Prophet, like all false prophets before him, will be a great deceiver.  He looks like a lamb.  There will be a gentleness about him, a softness about him that is deceiving.  Let us take note that he has two horns but the real Lamb of God is revealed as having seven horns — the fulness of the power of the Almighty (Revelation 5:6).  The lamb-like false prophet is an imitation, a counterfeit, a deceiver.  He imitates all of the things that are of the Lord “[color=#000099]and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do[/color]” (Revelation 13:14).  His “lying wonders” are used to force those who dwell on earth to worship the Antichrist (Revelation 13:12).  All who are influenced by those miracles of the False Prophet are doomed and will be damned and sent to the lake of fire forever (Revelation 14:9-11; 19:20; 20:10).

2. DECEPTION THROUGH THE POWER OF THE FALSE PROPHET
Revelation 13:13-15; 16:13,14; Matthew 24:24; 7:15-23;
2 Thessalonians 2:9-12; Revelation 11:3-5; 16:1,2; 19:20; 20:10.

This end-time false prophet with a composite lamb-dragon appearance and nature had power.  “He exerciseth all the power of the first beast.”  “He had power to give life unto the image of the beast.”  “He had power to do miracles in the sight of the beast.”  “He doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.”  The purpose of his miracles is not to deliver men from present and eternal suffering but to “deceive them that dwell on the earth” and “cause the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast.”  The source of the power of the False Prophet is the dragon, the Devil.  The purpose of his performing miracles is to make men irredeemable slaves, servants, worshippers of Satan and thereby make them suffer eternal punishment with Satan in hell-fire for ever.

The events of the thirteenth chapter of Revelation will take place at the mid-point of the seven years of the Tribulation.  The events will not take place suddenly. There will be a gradual build-up for these events to transpire after the church is raptured and the Tribulation begins.  Prophetic events cast their shadows before them.  The False Prophet in Revelation chapter thirteen is the epitome of all the false prophets who have gone before him. Today, we need to be warned against false prophets who come with the personality and calmness of a lamb, but who speak and operate in the power of Satan.  Beware, be not deceived.

3. THE DEMAND AND PERSECUTION BY THE FALSE PROPHET
Revelation 13:16-18; 14:9-13; 20:11-15; 15:2; 20:4; Proverbs 22:3; Hosea 14:9; Deuteronomy 32:29; Romans 8:17,18; Matthew 24:13.

“And he causeth ALL, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

We are near the end of time and the stage is set for the Antichrist and his False Prophet.  It is now possible to buy food and an assortment of other things without money, cheques or charge cards.  Planting a chip in the hand or on the forehead, that is, giving a mark of identification in the right hand or in the forehead in order to buy or sell, is now possible.  The vast possibilities in this age of information technology prepare the stage for the events of Revelation chapter thirteen.

The mark of the Beast indicates that the one wearing it is a worshipper of the Beast and that he submits to his rule.  To be without the mark is to be labelled a traitor.  The people who do not have the mark will be killed or starved to death because they will not be able to get the food and other things they need to stay alive.  The people who do not have the mark of the Beast will suffer temporarily, but the people who get the mark of the Beast will also suffer — suffer eternally in the lake of fire (Revelation 13:15-17; 14:9-11).  The number of the Beast is 666.  The only sure way of escape is to be genuinely saved and live for Christ and endure till the end.

POLICE INFORMATION

An important message from the Police - please pass this along to all the women you know,

This actually happened a few weeks ago on the M3 FLEET SERVICES!!! It was early evening, and a young girl stopped to get petrol. She filled her tank and walked into the store to pay for her petrol. The cashier told her, 'Don't pay for your petrol yet, walk around the store for a while, and act as if you're picking up some other things to buy. A man just got into the back of your car. I've called the police, and they're on their way'.

When the police arrived, they found the man in the back seat of the girl's car and asked him what he was doing. He replied, he was joining a gang, and the initiation to join is to kidnap a woman and bring her back to the gang to be raped by every member of the gang. If the woman was still alive by the time they finish with her then they let her go.

According to the police that night, there is a new gang forming here, originating from London . The scary part of this is, because the guy didn't have a weapon on him, the police could only charge him with trespassing,

He's back on the street and free to try again.

Something similar to this happened at the Tesco garage on Cardiff Road in Newport
recently, but luckily the cashier saw the man get into her car.

Please be aware of what's going on around you, and warn your family and friends. LADIES, you or one of your family or friends could be the next victim.

The first bit is mainly for women, but boys, please read it and send it on to any women you care about. The second bit is a warning to all of us!

Some sound advice for us all, as we all sometimes forget to take our common sense with us when we go out. This is from Northants Police Women, In light of the recent kidnapping and now murder of Leigh Mathews, I think it is important to read the following info form your own safety.

Things women should know to stay safe: Please take the time to read these pointers. There may be just one or two you hadn't thought of, After reading this, forward it to someone you care about. It never hurts to be careful in this crazy world we live in.

1. Tip from Tae Kwon Do: The elbow is the strongest point on your body. If you are close enough to use it, do!

2. If a robber asks for your handbag, DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM. Toss it away from you, he is probably more interested in your handbag than you, and he will go for the handbag. RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!

3. If you are ever thrown into the boot of a car: Kick out the back tail lights, and stick your arm through the hole and start waving. The driver won't see you, but everybody else will. This has saved lives.

4. Women have a tendency to get into their cars after shopping, eating, working, etc, and just sit (doing their cheque book, or making a list). DON'T DO THIS! A predator could be watching you, and this is the perfect opportunity for him to get in on the passenger side, and attack you. AS SOON AS YOU GET INTO YOUR CAR, LOCK THE DOORS AND LEAVE.

5, A few notes about getting into your car in a car park:

a) Be aware: look around you, look into your car, look at the passenger side floor, and check the back seat.

b) If you are parked next to a big van, enter your car from the passenger door. Most attackers surprise their victims by pulling them into their vans while the women are attempting to get into their cars.

c) Look at the car parked on the driver's side of your vehicle, and the passenger side. If a male is sitting alone in the seat nearest your car, you may want to walk back into the shop, or work, and get a guard/policeman to walk you back out. IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better paranoid than dead.)

6. ALWAYS take the lift instead of the stairs. Stairwells are horrible places to be alone, and the perfect crime spot.

7. If the predator has a gun and you are not under his control, ALWAYS RUN! The predator will only hit you (a running target) 4 in 100 times; and even then, it most likely WILL NOT be a vital organ, RUN!

8. As women, we are always trying to be sympathetic: STOP IT! It may get you raped, or killed. Ted Bundy, the serial killer, was a good-looking, well educated man, who ALWAYS played on the sympathies of unsuspecting women. He walked with a cane, or a limp, and often asked "for help" into his vehicle or with his vehicle, which is when he abducted his next victim.

9. Another safety point: Someone just told me that her friend heard a crying baby on her porch the night before last, and she called the police because it was late and she thought it was weird. The police told her, 'Whatever you do, DO NOT open the door.' The lady then said that it sounded like the baby had crawled near a window, and she was worried that it would crawl to the street and get run over. The policeman said, 'We already have a unit on the way. Whatever you do, DO NOT open the door.' He told her that they think a serial killer has a baby's cry recorded and uses it to coax women out of their homes, thinking that someone dropped off a baby. He said they have not verified it, but have had several calls from women saying that they hear babies' cries outside their doors when they're home
alone at night.

Please pass this on, and DO NOT open the door for a crying baby.

I'd like you to forward this to all the women you know. It may save a life. A candle is not dimmed by lighting another candle. Send this to any woman you know who may need to be reminded that the world we live in has a lot of crazies in it, and it's better safe than sorry.

You walk across the car park, unlock your car and get inside. Then you lock all your doors, start the engine and shift or put into reverse. You look into the rear-view mirror to back out of your parking space, and you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of the rear window. So, you shift the gear stick back into park or neutral, unlock your doors and jump out of your car to remove that paper, or whatever it is that is obstructing your view.

When you reach the back of your car, that is when the car-jackers appear out of nowhere, jump into your car and take off!! Your engine was running, you would have left your purse in the car, and they practically mow you down as they speed off in your car.

BE AWARE OF THIS NEW SCHEME THAT IS NOW BEING USED IN LONDON , MANCHESTER , AND MAKING ITS WAY ACROSS THE COUNTRY!!!

Just drive away, and remove the paper later! It is stuck to your window, and be thankful that you read this email.

At first glance, evangelist Olivia Mitchell’s life didn’t appear to be promising. She was born to an interracial couple in the 1950s and subjected to ridicule, neglect and repeated acts of abuse.

Many others would have given in to despair and failure when faced with such trying circumstances. But with God’s help Olivia persevered.

In Christ there is always hope. We mustn’t allow circumstances to force us out of the race when certain victory is just around the corner.
