Actually, that is the plan. |
Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by Seun(m): 3:48pm On Aug 19, 2008 |
38 threads in a whole year is nothing. |
Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by DrKitaun(m): 3:56pm On Aug 19, 2008 |
meaning you are encouraging duplicity of threads here abi ? no wonder all these vermins get away with all the rubbish they do . . . Seun, please leave the Sports section for us to handle, dont by virtue of ur say in this disorganize this section do u now mean to say 38 threads in a year x 20 clubs = 760 isnt too much ? 760 threads of bunkum would sure be a spectacle |
Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by folahann(m): 4:05pm On Aug 19, 2008 |
How can you challenge someone of how he runs his home when you are not paying a dime to live there. If you don't like it, the exit door is always opened. |
Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by Seun(m): 5:05pm On Aug 19, 2008 |
do u now mean to say 38 threads in a year x 20 clubs = 760 isnt too much ?760 threads in a year is still nothing. That's just two threads a day in the whole sports section. However, most Nigerian football fanatics are fans of the top 4 premier league clubs, so the plan is to cover every match played by Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Liverpool. 38*4 per year is just 1 thread every 2-3 days. And that's much less than nothing. Nigeria is a soccer-loving nation; the sports forum should be the most popular subforum after Romance. |
Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by Akolawole(m): 5:45pm On Aug 19, 2008 |
@Dr Kitaun Its not actually 760, what of champions league? FA CU, Milk cup etc. Only the Deep can Call To the Deep. @Fola You are right jare. Continue the good job. Its obvious you've been terrific here. |
Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by A40(m): 5:49pm On Aug 19, 2008 |
@folahann But you are not a new jack now this thread could be discussed on the Arsenal thread @muki You are not doing your job ooh |
Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by Seun(m): 6:02pm On Aug 19, 2008 |
The sports section will never grow the way you guys want it to be. |
Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by lordimpaq(m): 6:13pm On Aug 19, 2008 |
@seun it doesn't seem right, why the duplication, this is not issue of dominance on 12 regulars, then why do we have instruction at the top which clearly states "Common ERRORS include capitalization, bad spelling and DUPLICATE TOPICS". and also OLD topics must NOT be repeated. man, you contradict your own rules, |
Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by Hannibal: 6:17pm On Aug 19, 2008 |
Seun: Seun, what happens when Chelsea plays Arsenal?? Arsenal fans would create topic that says: Arsenal Vs Chelsea. . . . Chelsea fans would go: Chelsea Vs Arsenal. After the game, Arsenal fans would say: Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea(We are the champions) Chelsea fans would create: Chelsea 0-1 Arsenal(Scolari should be sacked, Drogba should be sold). One single match has generated 4 or more topics. . . . .Is that not a worry for the moderator? |
Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by lordimpaq(m): 6:20pm On Aug 19, 2008 |
Hannibal: spot on mate, i love u for that, for example i wonder why we have a thread for men's olympic games then we'll have nigeria vs argentina, and the lot, i'm pretty sure someone else would bring on a thread that says nigeria vs argentina, or another thread that says nigeria thumps belgium, or nigeria wallops beligium, or nigeria devastates belgium, men, its a load of crap, but seun, why na? |
Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by Nobody: 6:24pm On Aug 19, 2008 |
Seun: I disagree, the reason it has attracted more people is because it is relatively more organised. I'm an arsenal fan, when i want information on the club there is just a one-stop shop - - the arsenal club thread. I dont have to peruse 200 threads just to find information i could easily find in one spot. |
Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by Hannibal: 6:41pm On Aug 19, 2008 |
lordimpaq: You love me?? Lordimpaq loves Hannibal. . . . . . Arsenal fans won't take this lightly with u. Anyways, what are u predicting for the championship this term. . . . . .Who's going to win it? |
Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by Mustay(m): 7:46pm On Aug 19, 2008 |
This is just another wahala. Jackal didn't say it all. What about arsenal versus Chelsea- the video; Arsenal versus Chelsea - was it an offside?, arsenal versus Chelsea - fantasy league; arsenal versus Chelsea - pictures only. If this happens to football clubs, what will happen to national teams? |
Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by Fimmy(m): 10:09pm On Aug 19, 2008 |
Arsenal will win |
Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by jgirl3: 11:02pm On Aug 19, 2008 |
760 threads in a year is still nothing. That's just two threads a day in the whole sports section.Seun, pls tell me you're kidding me. You want soccer to beat Romance? It will never be interesting because everyone will go offtopic. We are all bound to refer to a previous match in a bid to support one topic and if everyone else continues talking about the previous topic, it defeats the purpose of the thread. It's off no use. Personally I think our wonderful Club supporting threads are good. There's no need to compete with romance. Everyone has issues with that. Sports is popular enough in my opinion. |
Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by TheSly: 11:12pm On Aug 19, 2008 |
Why're you guys trying to make a mountain out of a molehill Infact, I'll take it upon myself to create a new topic for every Barcelona match. . . . . Yeah, and every Real Madrid, Valencia,Barca,Liverpool,Newcastle and Seville fan must start a new topic to show their commitment. It's going to be big. . . . . . . We must promote this section and crush the Romance Section. Afterall, we have the Admin behind us. Violaaaaaaaaa! |
Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by jgirl3: 11:16pm On Aug 19, 2008 |
The Sly:STOP making fun of this gorgeous idea! We'll probably never be able to make a head or tail of sports section anymore. I am NOT looking forward to this happening either. |
Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by TheSly: 11:20pm On Aug 19, 2008 |
j-girl:Who is making fun That is the plan of the Admin and its only right to throw my full support to make his plans achievable! Just watch me create threads like there is no tomorrow. . . . . . . . Time will tell |
Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by lordimpaq(m): 7:37am On Aug 20, 2008 |
Hannibal: u don't need to start having erections just because i said that, Hannibal: well for once i have to tip chelsea, its hard but chelsea are favorites to win it. |

Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by yommys01(m): 11:07am On Aug 20, 2008 |
I see us winning by at least 3-0. We must win this one now that we are in serious crisis due to injuries since our problem in recent time has always been injuries and the teams we are playing this time are not so great. all football fans are invited to join http://soccerfanbase.com today |
Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by Seun(m): 12:02pm On Aug 20, 2008 |
I disagree, the reason it has attracted more people is because it is relatively more organised.According to my stats, the sports section has been on the decline throughout this year. |
Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by tkb417(m): 12:21pm On Aug 20, 2008 |
what is all these? united vs pompey thread? what happens after the game? the thread dies!!! hmmm. . . @Seun i'll advise you to let the sports people handle this by themselves. we dont wanna have a repeat performance of what happened on the stock market forum @Folahann i dont understand why u have to start creating these stuffs? is the Admin paying you to do it? You should know berra even if thats what the admin wants @Moderator hmmm. . . .you just scored some low points here this shouldnt be allowed. Tell Mr.Admin how this thing should be |
Re: Creating A Thread For Each Match In Sports Section by Seun(m): 3:13pm On Aug 20, 2008 |
Mustay: The job of the moderator is to link all those threads to the main one. Disorganization is not my plan. |
