This was Jesus' prayer for the church - and hence God's will. Here we are, "believers" that we say we are, bickering over which church is "good" and which church is "better". Are we acting according to God's will?

Well a lot of churches are leading christians astray today and most "believers" don't even have a clue as to what the true gospel of Jesus is. The brand of christianity being preached and practised in most churches today is the selfish type which as no basis in scripture. How many churches truly help their members financially on a regular basis as the early church practised??

Matthew 15:8-9:

8 ‘These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
9 Their worship is a farce,
for they teach man-made ideas as commands from God.’[a]”

The above scripture is manifesting it's self in various degrees in most churches today.

My dear, Bible made us to understand that faith cometh by hearing the word of God, and also not to forsake the gathering of the saints. So you don't have to sit at home to teach your self the word of God, you have to go to bible believing church where they are preaching undiluted word of God. So in that case church comes in.

Jesus christ also said many would preach in his name, cast our demons and perform miracles in his name but their hearts are far from him. Whilst i would not like to mention any specific church i can submit that majority of the church leaders we have today their hearts are far from Christ cuase it is very evident that they are not follwing his teachings

My dear I know for sure that you knows the meaning of anti christ, pls stop criticizing churches, a portion of bible said, hold fast the profession of your faith without wavering for He is faithful that promised. So my dear if you believe that God is reigning in your own church be there and if that your church can not help you to attain salvation change your church, because iron sharpeneth iron as the scripture says. You cannot be in a church where there is no sound doctrine and be hoping you will get salvation.

So in that case the church you are attending matters.

When Jesus was on the earth he was going about healing people, raising the dead and many other numerous works which he did. And he commissioned his disciples that they will do greater miracles than the ones he did. So what other example are you looking for. please if you are not satisfied can you give us the names of the pastors you feal their church is the best or are you trying to advice us to sit at home or not to be a member of any church.

Most people assume that the doctrine being preached in their church is right, they would be shocked on the last days. as a christian it is not compulsary i attend any church even though we have been advised not to forsake the assembly of beleivers, that does not necessarily mean i should attend any church. My salvation is not dependent on any man made church neither is it dependent on the teachings of any pastor. If you truly want to be saved Give your life to christ and live by his commandements that is what really matters. Several christians are perishing for lack of knowledge. Jesus commission to the apsotles was to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth. but our morden day preachers are more interested in spreading the gospel "within" their church and promoting church growth(and income) instead of spreading the gospel. The church as it is today is totally different from the early church established by the apsotles.

I am not saying you shoudn't attend any church what i am recommending for christians it that they be wary of whatever church they attend even if it appears the truth is being preached there, this warning is especially to pentecostals becos a pentescostal church as become a all comers affair and any criminal can wake up and start one for peculnary gains. I know for a fact that the true gospel of Jesus christ based on love is not being practised in most churches today( how many churches assist there members financially on a regular basis like the early church practised?) (do you know that church offerings in the early church was originally meant to assist the needy?) But today pastors have highjacked it and claim it is meant to run the church.

Let me tell you a story, there is a man in my place of work, and this man Is almost a pastor in position where he worship, and there is a day when I had a problem I needed #140,000 because of my wife that went thrugh a cs operation before she deliver, and my salary is below #30,000, that man stop every other staff from asisting me, because of his position in the office. He did want to give and does not want other to give me, my wife was still in the hospital this was going on. Did you know the church he is attending? He is a member of the lords chosen sheperd by pastor lazarus muoka. Honestly I wept because I never believe he can treat me that way, most of the time he goes out for morning cry and evangelism. My brother is this truely a church of God? Are we folowing the foots step of our lord Jesus? Infact only God knows who is worshiping him in spirit and in truth. I don't want to judge I will reserve my coment for now, thanks God bless you all.

I live in Festac Town with your founder, Pastor Laz Mouka whose convoy is longer than that of Lagos State Governor. When he rebelled and broke away from the highy delusional Watchmen Charismatics, he slamed the owner of
" WATCHMMAN" for being carnal in using jeeps and police escorts. Today he uses them. Last year crusade Mouka had at Onitsha, he landed with Helicopter! The God of Chosen he invokes can never be mocked and decieved! That is why God raised Pastor Everst Ofoegbu and Mouka's own brother in law to tell the world that greed is the god of chosen! The advert rags your folks wear to your shops and offices are sold to you between N500 and N1000. Zeal without knowledge and brain wahing can never produce your best Church in the world! Grow up in faith and serve God in truth and in Spirit!

A church set up as a business concern to make money for the promoters ( why are your church leaders quarelling in court today?), can you imagine best church indeed   Anyway it is obvious that your church is just interested in enlisting more members so that your promoters can make more money and not winning souls for christ. all this talk about converting people to chrictianity is just a cover up for the real money making motive of your church. A church that focuses more on it's self and promotes it's self as the best church cannot possibly be doing the will of God A church should focus more on the gospel and not promoting it's brand name . Are you saying the other churches are not good enough?
