Please Help! my laptop keep restarting when boot into windows Xp, and i even try to enter with safe-mode still the same thing.so, i try to format it but got stuck at "fdisk" where by the percentage didn't read at all, plz i really need it to come back to life cos I'm really bored without my system, HELPPPPP

Did you scan your system for virus before this occurred? Some viruses after they are removed leaves the system in a state of constant rebooting.

Check this URL - http://windowsxp.mvps.org/peboot.htm - for ways to replace the registry value changed by the virus. (if it is virus ) You will need bartpe boot disk. Good luck

No, i don't scan my system for virus before this occured!  LIKE I TOLD YOU BEFORE, i have my own McAfee Site Advisor installed on my system from total package: McAfee Internet Security Suite. The McAfee Site Advsior has installed on my both favorite browser: IE and Firefox each time I enter the URL address, it prompts me a WARNING MESSAGE IMMEDIATELY whether site is REAL or PHISHING [/b]or [b]VIRUS/SPYWARE . Look at snapshot what it look like at below:

The real site will display the green indicates McAfee Site Advisor icon, see picture at below:



I have nothing to worry about being attacked---McAfee Site Advisor DOES THE JOB BLOCK THE SITE for me.
