Pls Gazzuzz my car has been havin problem starting only when the engine is cold. When the engine is at normal temperature, car starts well.

My mechanics have changed many things like plugs, plug wires, and fuel point, service injector nozzles and cleaned fuel filter. The ECTS has been changed twice yet no solution.

Initially the codes were those of engine misfires, cylinder 1, 2 and random misfires. The CEL disappeared after one mechanic worked on the plug wires by using black cellotape to wrap round it. But the following morning the car would not start. Trying hard to start it by "firing" it hard brought back the CEL.

The last mech that tried to work it was the one that changed the fuel pump and the ects. After that, my car developed new symptoms of hesitation, high rev before changing gear, jerking while changin gears. I scanned again and got codes for ECTS fault, TPS and MAP sensors failure (dont have the codes offhand now). I changed the throttle body and the ects and those hesitation and gear symptoms disappeared.

This morning, the car would not start again. I had to "fire" it and hold it at 3000rpm or more till the engine warms before i drive off. The hotter the weather is, the more attempt the car makes to start.

My car is 1999 honda accord, I4, automatic gear.

Pls what could wrong with it? I'm frustrated, it has been 3 weeks since this started

Hmmmmmm where do I start from? Too many issues. Please call me 08023251039

Hello,

I need some advice. I recently bought a Toyota Camry 2010 model with 2.5L engine capacity. What is the recommended engine oil for this vehicle? Does Mobil or Total have the engine oil that can be used to service the vehicle?

Master Gazzuzz..pls kindly advice.

I discovered from my car manual that we used 5litres of oil to service my car instead of 6.1litres. Can I go ahead to add the extra 1litre since my car is beginning to flash the low oil pressure light.

Also the ATF fluid level in my car is below the normal gauge.
and am beginning to see the ATF/ temp light on my dash board.
Please what's the best brand of automatic transmission fluid that I need for my toyota rav4 2006. And how do i know the original. The car is a 2months old Toks.

Thanks

Its obviously a V6 for that amount of engine oil. Why did you have to wait till you saw the low oil preasure warning light! Well hope you have not caused engine damage by your actions.

For the transsmission oil, its not supposed to short unless there's a leak! You can top it off with toyotaWS transsmission oil.

There are 1liter packs for both oils.

Recomended oil for your vehicle engine oil 5W30. Transmission oil Toyota WS

As per how to know the original, gaskiya I have no idea, I have a toyota parts dealer that sells only toyota original parts by part numbers and vin so I'm at peace with his products.

Just to further clarify the poster. the ATF Toyota Type WS doesn't come in a 1 litre can, it comes in 4 litres and sold between (8-11k) depending on your state.

I drive a manual transmission gear and steering wheel for upward of 15years,
I would want to know, along the steering system are their points or location to be greased once a while, either monthly or yearly?
How will I ascertain, when my gear oil is to be drained for replacement?

Hello House,

Please advice on the reliability of 2006 Infiniti FX45. Outside fuel consumption which am aware of is normal being a V8. Re there any other prone faults like transmission or electrical faults? Is it a durable ride? Re the parts readily available at considerable cost?

Thanks in advance

No prone faults.
Avoid using dashboard cleaner on the dash.
Parts are available but pricy (especially body parts)

The suspension is stiff so driving on roads that are not smooth may be slightly uncomfortable

Sir! please, I Using Toyota Camry 2011model. I notice a problem with the Car, If I march a brake on the Move, to accelerate again will be difficult Until I press the tootle two times before he can pick.
My Mechanic have Change many thing there "Fuel pump, servicing on injector etc" Still The Same,
Kindly Advice me on what to do, because the Mechanic guy advice me to Call a Rewire to Check-it

GAZZUZZ:
Re-occuring fuel pump issues

Fuel Tanks
All too often, vehicles are refueled from a badly rusted or dirt-contaminated fuel tank and in some case water contaminated also, finely granulated dirt will be filtered out in the fuel filter but, in most cases, larger granulations of dirt will clog the filter screen attached to the fuel pump inlet and starve the pump for fuel.
Whenever a fuel pump is replaced, the tank should be inspected for dirt contamination, for loose fuel pump baffling, and for dents or distortions that can restrict fuel entry into the fuel pump or fuel exit from the pressure regulator return line. In some cases, a fuel tank can be cleaned with a hot solution of water and detergent, but in other cases, it’s more cost-effective to replace the fuel tank. If the plastic anti-sloshing baffles have become dislodged from the fuel tank itself, the tank should be replaced with one of the many available from OE or aftermarket sources.

Low Fuel Level Effects (reserve/empty)

If you are one who appears to have more than his share of fuel pump failures, it’s a good bet that you are running your fuel tank nearly dry before refueling your vehicle. Even with adequate baffling in the fuel tank, low fuel levels tend to cause the fuel pump to ingest air during acceleration, cornering, and braking. Since modern high-speed fuel pumps require gasoline to lubricate the pump bearings and cool the pump itself, it’s cheaper in the long run to run on the top half of the fuel tank.
One of the most important tips for diagnosing a fuel delivery problem is to check the PCM for trouble codes indicating a faulty fuel level sensor or sending unit. Another tip is to compare the fuel gauge reading with the relative level observed in the fuel tank after the pump assembly has been removed. If the fuel gauge proves to be inaccurate, it’s entirely possible that the driver is running his vehicle too low on fuel.

Relays And Resistors

When replacing a fuel pump on a vehicle with more than 100,000 miles on the odometer, the reliability of the repair can usually be increased by replacing the fuel pump relay as well. A relay wears out because it’s an electrically operated switch with two tungsten contacts that connect the fuel pump to battery voltage. In many cases, the relay contacts oxidize and fail to close properly, which can create an intermittent cranking, no-start complaint. In other cases, the contacts can stick together, which allows the fuel pump to drain the battery with the ignition turned off.

I had a Toyota camry 2001 model for about 2 years. Two days after I bought the car, I decided to fix timer that cuts off fuel supply within four minutes if not deactivated. On the same day I fixed the Security, I observed that the check light appeared on the instrument cluster
