Funaab 2014/2015 Admission Guidelines: "Did You Know" Info About Funaab P.ume by Dottune(m): 3:05pm On Jun 28, 2014
1. The POST UTME exams to be written in the Federal
University of Agriculture Abeokuta is a Computer
Based Test (CBT) has no past-questions except the
questions prepared to prepare you ahead of the exam.( The Past Questions Available are from the Final Pre Degree Exams, which gives you an insight of what the post ume will be like. In the Year 2009 Funaab set their post ume Live from the that year's pre degree Final Exams, and only changed it on the last day when it leaked). So it's up to you whether to get it or not.

2. Your WAEC results determine your chances to a
greater extent since it is used in calculating your
total marks for admission purposes.

3. Once you meet off the UTME cut off mark 180(Not yet Decided) and you meet the required POST UTME score for a pass
which is 40%, be sure you will get a course to study(Mostly Applicable to Pre Degree students), a 180 and 50+ should guarantee a Jambite(Science) Admission, a 180 and 60+ should guarantee a Jambite(Management Science) admission), a 200 and 40+ should guarantee a Science(Jambite Admission), a 200 and 50+ should guarantee a Management(Jambite admission).

if you do not perform excellently, you might not be given your desired course
unless your course is not competitive but its applicable to only science students.
List of Competitive Courses in Funaab are:
1. All Engineering courses are competitive (The least competitive is Agricultural Engineering)

2. Almost all COLNAS (College of Natural Sciences)
Courses (Computer science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics.. Biology is the least competitive)

3. COLERM Courses like Environmental management and toxicology & Wma.. Aqfm and Fwm are the least
competitive.

4. Veterinary Medicine is very Competitive.

5. COLAMRUD courses like (Ae & Fm), (Ae & Rd) are a
bit competitive.

6. COLHFEC courses also are a bit competitive ( Food
Science and Technology & Nutrition and Dietics. Hsm is the least competitive).

7. In COLANIM Aph is very competitive the rest are not all that competitive except for Animal Breeding and Genetics.

8. Generally all COPLANT courses are not
competitive..If you do not get your first choice of course, Coplant is more of the place you will find yourself in if your are not lucky with other
departments.
So just try and get good grades..

To calculate your current score, before POST-UTME,
Step One
Divide your JAMB by 8 i.e what ever you score in your
JAMB divided by 8
Second step

Calculate your O' level result using outline below
A1 is 6Points
B2 is 5Points
B3 is 4Points
C4 is 3Points
C5 is 2Points
C6 is 1Points

Third step
Sum the O'level, multiply it by 20 and divide it by 30

Forth step
Your POST UTME is multipy by 0.3.

ABOUT YOUR POST-UTME
Subject to be taken by Science students include;
Maths, English, Chemistry, Physics and Biology (10 questions each)

institution is all about preparing for
the challenges that will come. Which
you must overcome before you can be
admitted, into you dream school.
Which is the post utme examination,
without post utme exam you can be
admitted except if your father is the
president or vc of the school (lol).
And for you to pass you must start
preparing for it. And to have a good
grade is by reading so that you can
qualify for the pass mark for you
various courses you intend to study.
There is of many instances in which

thing that can hinder you from getting

excuses), if you don’t invest your
money in books that are needful for
