Its in Ayobo in Lagos. The finish is medium end. Probably on the high end side for the area and rent levels cos one tenant been tell me them no dey for Ajah. I decided on a set standard.

I now have a managing agent. For the lettings I invited more like was approached by several agents and worked on a free for all basis as I wanted to supervise, do the selecting and ensure that all administrative processes are in place before keys are handed over.

9ja saga about 3pm today about 5 police officers welding guns and about 10 people claiming to be from building control ( 1 wear orange jacket which says KAAKA name of one local ajagungbale) came to the completed house.

I initially came out and took photo evidence. As soon as I did this one of the officers ran up with gun pointed. I quickly retreated and closed the door trying to call the local DPO.

Na so the LASBCA they work? House get approval oh.

For security reasons re kidnapping it was decided that photo will be loaded pending alausa visit.

Na so without prior notice them lock shop, drive people comot for house, lock gate, refuse my mother to come in, refused a tenant who wanted to drive out him car, man in blue dey swear up and down until granma return am back him swear.

I'm curious:

1) Identification: What agency/agencies are they from?

2) Violation/Offense: What violation are they alleging has occurred?

3) Documentation: What document/s are they producing to the effect? Court order?

I of course am asking these questions from the comfort of my office in California, things may be difficult on the ground to ascertain this answers.

Please be careful.

These LSBCA guys always come with a warrant or document of some kind. If they don't show you they may be fake or moving around without their oga's knowledge.

I hope they didn't harm anybody sha?

As per usual fashion i just took photos as evidence. Na so the policeman standing tear race with gun towards me upstairs after that I just run inside lock door. Police with gun is not to be approached.

Apparently they were from the enforcement department I was told when I called the phone number they left just now. He said he is the director and gave his name as Olowojoba.

They left no official paperwork whatsoever to ascertain any of these.

So what is the alleged offence, it just strikes me as wrong what they did ?

Alausa contact would be useful. I am still gathering information on their processes.

LASBCA office in moshalashi apparently are not aware of who carried out the illegal rampage as not from their office.

The police officers refused to produce their warrant when asked for it. The local DPO is unaware. Thank God for the photographs as they will be fished out.

My lawyer sent over some info that I will share to help us all navigate through the building process.

Madam, am still confused, so they never said what they were there for?

They parked an Lasbca car outside and felt that was sufficient and said to the tenant they were sent to lock up the building and one of the staff said they were not sent to lock people in so they subsequently opened the pedestrian access.

I collected this a little over an hour ago and it represents to me

1. Total abuse of position by the lasbca
2. The mafia style use of police to terrorise citizens.
3. All that is disgusting about government departments.
