PapaBrowne: Omisore's resume:

Education[edit]
He had his primary education at the SS Peter and Paul Roman Catholic School in Ile-Ife and his secondary education at St. John Grammar School Ile Ife Osun State from 1972 – 1977, where he excelled. He later attended Federal Polytechnic Owo in Ondo State Nigeria. He later sat for and passed his Full Technological Certificate Examinations at the Technology College, Reading UK, and obtained a diploma Certificate in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Power and Machines from Brunnel University Uxbridge, United Kingdom, a postgraduate Certificate in Building service and Engineering Management and a Master of Science Degree in Building Services from the same University. Later, he went to Brunel University, Uxbridge, UK where he earned a Post Graduate Certificate in Mechanical Engineering and an M.Sc degree in Building Services Engineering. At present, the senator holds a Ph.D in Infrastructure Finance from the International School of Management, Paris, France and he is currently undergoing his DBA programme at the same institution. In his pursuit of excellence, the Senator who is equally a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, England and Wales underwent several courses in different high profile institutions. He did the Advanced Budgeting Course at the George Town University, Washington DC, USA; the Appropriations and Public Finance Course at the ABS Academy, Athens, Greece; the Advanced Leadership Course at the University of Carolina; The Innovation and Leadership Course at the West London College; the Public Finance Course at the Harvard University and the Aid Effectiveness and Donour Harmonization Course at the Internationale Weiterbildung und Entwicklung gGmbH, Germany.

In January 2013, he completed and was awarded a Doctorate Degree by the International School of Management in Paris. He majored in Procurement, Taxation, Corporate Governance, Infrastructure finance and Public Private Partnerships. The concept of Public Private Partnerships is a key part of the strategy that has been successfully used to provide affordable infrastructure that meets public needs. The concept combines the best capabilities of the Public and Private sectors for mutual benefit.[2]

Professional career[edit]
He is an embodiment of intelligence who has made the pursuit of excellence his trademark. Senator Iyiola Omisore is an engineer and politician of note, and an astute manager of resources whose attention to detail, calmness, and ability to simplify, and proffer solutions to complex issues is uncommon. In fact, his patriotic zeal and engineering acumen was brought to play tremendously when he was in the Senate between 2003 and 2011 and the country benefitted tremendously from this.

Engineering

He started his early professional life with the firm of Drake and Gordham while in the UK, in the early Eighties where he received on the job training and rose to top Management positions. The same firm Drake and Scull (Nig) Ltd took him back home to Nigeria where he worked on major Engineering projects, it was while working at Drake and Scull that his project management skills were horned. He later established his own Engineering firms; Mechelec Consultants –an Engineering Consultancy outfit and Chrisore Eng Ltd – an Electrical Engineering firm.

Omisore, a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers started his engineering career as project manager with Drake Gordham UK, Plc, in 1983 and was there up to 1985 before returning to Nigeria to join Drake and Scull Nig. Ltd. also as Project Manager. Here, he supervised the construction of 19 airfields including the Makurdi Air Force Base. Apart from these, he supervised other projects like the Sokoto and Makurdi Rice Mills, Taraku Oil Mill and the Sokoto University Teaching Hospital. He was elevated to the post of a General Manager in 1987 and as a General Manager there up till 1999, he handled such projects like the Federal Mortgage Bank Headquarters Building, Onitsha Flour Mills, Bank of The North (Now Unity Bank) Building, Podium Secretariat, Port Harcourt; Eternit, Sapele; World Bank Assisted Health Projects for Plateau, Benue and Nasarawa States and the Imiringi Rural Electrification project now in Bayelsa State.

UACN Commercial Complex, Abuja;
Union Bank (Stallion Plaza);
UBA Headquarters;
EIB Headquarters;
Afribank Headquarters;

As someone that has made his mark in the engineering profession, he has some awards to show for this. He was conferred with the Nigerian Society of Engineers Presidential Merit Award for Support and Contribution to the Development of the Society in 2007. Also, when the NSE was celebrating its Golden Jubilee in 2008, he was honoured with the Prime Award for Remarkable Contribution to the Growth of Engineering Profession and Society.

Project Management

On the consultancy side he was involved in the execution of several World Bank assisted projects and ADB/ADF assisted projects in virtually every part of Nigeria. Chisore Engineering Ltd was also involved in the Execution of many projects for Blue Chip Companies, Banks, Embassies, Shipping Companies; just to mention but a few. He was very successful in his professional endeavour, he diversified and today has interest in several areas of the Economy. He was in the process of taking Chrisore Engineering to be listed on the stock Exchange before the duties of elective political office beckoned on him. Omisore went ahead to establish Chrisore Engineering Plc in 1989 as well as Mechelec Consultants Ltd. Between the time of its establishment and 1999, Chrisore Engineering of which he was the Chairman and CEO had executed many projects.

These include the UACN Commercial Complex, Apapa; the Central Bank of Nigeria Governor’s residence including the residences of its 5 Deputies; Afribank Headquarters; Eko International Bank Headquarters; UACN Abuja Complex in addition to the Union Bank of Nigeria Headquarters.

All that the APC/ACN internet thugs are good for is character assassination and trying to intimidate other people with baseless violent accusations. Just imagine people saying over and over again that Omisore killed Bola Ige as if they saw him do it. Very regrettable from people who call themselves progressive. Of course many people thought Omisore didn't even go to school at all because the lying "progressives" have in their usual violent style been all over the world telling everyone that he is a common illiterate thug. Never mind we shall see the results of your shameless campaign in August. All of una go chop poison like somebody like this.

Re: Omisore Accepts Open Debate With Aregbesola by felifeli: 8:35am On Jul 09, 2014
Aregbesola had better not attend the debate because that will be his Waterloo. The world will be faced with a real contrast in character - the good mannered gentleman versus the desperate and uncouth dramatist. In his usual style Aregbesola will be there whipping up sentiments and politicking instead of talking issues. He will be going there attempting to intimidate the opponent ala Mohammad Ali style. He is a common clown - see picture above . And for you all who say that Omisore is going about with armed guards , if Aregbesola is like the thug that he has shown himself to be then tell me what his less literate followers will be like.They will be no more than bloodthirsty hooligans. No wonder their boss told them not to forget their charms at home on voting day. I think Omisore should be given an entire battalion of soldiers to protect him from these desperate animals.

[size=18pt]Wonders shall never cease to happen. I thought Osun State and Ekiti State have intellectuals who are learned. Why are they not coming out to contest elections to rule their people.
Nigeria with their fish brain- this man Omisore has so many allegations and murder charges hanging around him; most especially for master minding the killing of Attorney General -Justice Minister years back.

How could Yoruba people start allowing people with bad records start contesting and winning elections when they should be in the prisons.

I was surprised seeing Fayose win after all the allegations and billions he stole, if this man(Omisore) wins I don't think there is hope for good governance in Nigeria.

We must come out to shun evil.

typical apc mentality that lacks any intellectual depth or logic. I don't expect any sensible contribution from apc supporters because even their party leaders are liar. By the way when it is time for the presidential debate u will see what will happen. But please please kindly paste apc candidate resume here and let ppl judge and see the kind of ppl that has been ruling them.I know u are afraid to do that. Let people judge between the two of them

Fayemi's status, records,CV, and achievements can bury Fayose alive and at the end he was defeated by an HND holder.

It's not by CV.

We shall meet at the poll.

Meanwhile, I'm still gonna vote for Aregbesola so as majority 'll do.

Who killed Chief BOLA IGE

Who killed Engr. Funsho Williams

Who killed Otunba Dipo Dina in Ogun State - ACA

Who killed Toyin Hamzat
{The former chairman of Ikeja local Government and a strong member of the Action Congress of Nigeria who was rumored to be preparing to contest for the governorship position of his state under the ACN platform but was gunned down on his way to Aiyepe in Ogun State}.

who killed Otunba Ismail
{Another chieftain of the ACN and a strong loyalist of Aremo Olusegun Osoba who was warming up to contest for the Chairmanship of Ogun waterside local government against the desire of the sitting governor was mysteriously killed in a motor accident while returning from Abeokuta.

Who killed Yomi Bamgbose
{Another strong supporter of Aremo Olusegun Osoba who was murdered in cold blood right in the capital city of Abeokuta}

Who killed the Vice chairman of the ACN in Ipokia local government of Ogun State

{He was slaughtered in the middle of the night by some yet to be identified hoodlums}

- http://dailypost.ng/2014/01/25/adekoya-boladale-four-years-killed-dipo-dina/

Did Omisore killed all the above people NO!

The blood of the fallen Heroes in Yoruba Land and all over Nigeria in the name of politics is crying for vengeance.

Many were killed for some to claim relevance but GOD is the JUDGE who has the final says.

"Vengeance is Mine, and retribution, In due time their foot will slip; For the day of their calamity is near, And the impending things are hastening upon them" - Holy Bible Deuteronomy 32:35

"Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, "VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY," says the Lord". - Holy Bible Romans 12:19

BECAUSE the sentence against an evil deed is not executed quickly, therefore the hearts of the sons of men among them are given fully to do evil. - HB Eccl 8:11

Omisore may have got a sellable CV, But something we all should be well aware of is the fact Educational background don't count at the polls. .......... Popularity, antecedents, and pedigree are what electorates consider. All am personally interested in is a people oriented Governor.

Agbesola undoctored CV:

Rauf Aregbesola
Engineer Rauf Aregbesola (born 25 May 1957) is a Nigerian politician who ran for governor of Osun State in the 2007 elections. Although the People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Olagunsoye Oyinlola was declared the winner, Aregbesola appealed the decision and on 26 November 2010 was declared the winner.

Aregbesola was formerly an activist.

He was Lagos Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure when he ran for election in April 2007 on the Action Congress platform. In May 2008, Aregbesola called over 100 witnesses and tendered 168 exhibits in his petition before the Election Petitions Tribunal, alleging violence and ballot boxes stuffing in the election. In an October 2008 interview, he described Oyinlola as "a bully who came from a reactionary military arm", stating that Oyinlola had done nothing for the people of Osun state. He also claimed that 12 people had died in the election violence.

In August 2009 the police arrested Aregbesola, apparently for involvement in the alleged forgery of a police report on the conduct of the elections. Later that month he sought bail so that he could perform the lesser Hajj in Saudi Arabia. In August 2010 the police summoned him to make a statement about a 14 June 2007 bomb explosion near the ministry of water resources. Aregbesola denied any involvement, stating that he was in Abuja at the time.

Justices of the Federal Appeal Court, Ibadan finally declared Aregbesola the winner of the 2007 election, ordering that he be sworn in as governor by noon on 27 November 2010. The Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, offered his congratulations for the belated recognition of his election victory. Mr. Rauf Aregbesola, was on Saturday 12th of April 2014 endorsed as the governorship candidates of the All Progressives Congress in the states gubernatorial election slated for the 9th of August 2014.

The emergence of Aregbesola was preceded by congresses held before the governor who had no contestants was endorsed as the flag bearer in the governorship election.

The Nasir el-Rufai-led committee supervised the primary election in which Aregbesola was endorsed. While giving the governor the certificate of return, he said 269,631 members of the party voted Aregbesola for a second term out 355,390 members who registered in 332 wards across the state.

If omisore is pdp best candidate in osun state then what worked for them in ekiti will only work for apc and wont work for pdp in osun. Its sad that the political class are nt learning anything frm any political event in this country because they are greedy and self centered. Let wait and see.

Neyoor:

So, the PDP mumu is nt even from Osun state, no wonder he is saying jargon. Having that coloured CV doesn't guarantee him of been elected.

We're not fools in Osun state, by August 9 we shall determine his faith at the poll. Infact Aregbe didn't go to school atall. Mumu of the highest order
so I need to be in osun to know what is going on there abi?typical apc street brain mentality. So u dontt know that the world is now a global village where anyone anywhere in the world can know about what is going on elsewhere without been there. Well I don't expect anything better from u followers of a drug addict and especially when your party best candidate for the post of a governor is a refrigerator repairer.
