talk2smat: This just came in now. Human rights lawyer, Bamidele Aturu, is dead. Aturu reportedly died on Wednesday evening according to a colleague, Olanrewaju Suraj. Suraji confirmed that Aturu was sick briefly before he died in a Lagos hospital. Shocked beyond words!!! I remembered when I first met U and U wanted me to seek peaceful means of reconciling the issue I brought to U and like the peacemaker and human right activist U were, U gave me the best option... May Ur soul continue to rest in peace amen.... |
