DMainMan and his classmate who both recently finished MSc course and field work in Nigeria got d scholarship o.

We dont mind leaving our current jobs to go abroad for two main reasons:

a. It is an opportunity to conquer the world in some ways and make Nigeria proud. It pains me when I c d whites downgrading africans. We will rule d school and make sure d whites respect and honour africans.

b. The scholarship is worth about 11 million naira. I cant allow anyone to steal my money by not going.

It is very much likely we will get good jobs there before we finish.

At least, DMainMan Foundation will go international now.

D only thing that might not make us go is if we get Nlng job dat we are currently pursuing. But Allah knows best.

it's still high compared to all those ppl that give just 10 ppl or thereabouts!

I just found out I don't think I am too,those courses I've not seen one that suits me,that was part of why I didn't even take it serious to apply for the concluded one!

There is no PTDF this year till application opens for next year. Last year and This year were all merged, hence the number.

And who says you are not eligible?

Application starts towards the end of the year na, against next year...

Because I can't go in for any of the courses mentioned

So my hubby just got dis scholarship too. So so happy. For the first time...merit prevailed in naija. Dont think der was any back door in dis one. Cos even children of d elite that wrote d exam wt hubby r nowhere to be found on dt list.

So ppl wat next o...let d info continue pouring in.

How soon after applying to newcastle did they offer U̶̲̥̅̊ admission?

@greatdave, I had an offer from them for something different, so when I applied for change of course, and quoting d funding, it came in less than 24 hrs

CAN ONE CHANGE ONE'S SELECTION COURSE TO A COURSE THAT SUITS ONE'S CURRENT JOB DESCRIPTION SO AS TO SEE A GOOD CAUSE FOR LEAVING ONE'S JOB?
