Well, here we have it:
- Chord I
- Chord V
- Chord VIm
- Chord IV.

That's it, simple and precise for any major key at all.

So, how do we play it?

You could just play the key on the left hand and hit the corresponding chord four times on the right hand, sounds good right?


Or, you could just play it the normal way, I.e playing the chord on the R.H and the key on the L.H. When you play like this, you might probably hear yourself playing No Woman No Cry by Bob Marly . Ain't that great?


Or, you might just break the chords to make it something like...

C E G E

G B D B

A C E C

F A C A

... On the key of C for example.

Waittt a minute! Did you just played Adele's Someone Like You? Well, you could have just played the broken Chords twice before moving to the next one one e.g C E G E ×2, G B D B×2... To play it.

karleb you might want to check out dis video by simonkeys on improvising, where he talks about some improvisation concepts like chord tones and other stuff. it might seem advanced, but those ideas are basics that you can also apply in making your simple solos.
