TheRwanda football fans are praying fervently that the FIFA suspension placed on Nigerian football should not be changed so that its team can qualify for next year’s Cup of Nations.

If Rwanda scale past Congo the team will battle for a slot in next year cup of nations with defending champions Nigeria, South Africa and Sudan.
According to reports, if FIFA ban Nigeria as threatened by the World football Governing body over Government interference, fans of Rwanda National team believe its chances of been at the Nations cup after a 10 years absence will be brighter than earlier anticipated.

Nigeria has until today, 17 July to withdraw all court cases against the Aminu Maigari lead NFF or risked being banned from all football activities.
Nigeria is currently under suspension by FIFA from all football related activities after a Jos high court sacked the Aminu Maigari board of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
