meet up with the requirements for admission into
any University in Nigeria(private University
inclusive), thinking the next logical option is applying
to a polytechnic or college of education or wait for

MATRICULATION BOARD EXAMINATION(IJMBE)
This program is an Advanced Level(A/Level)
course regulated and conducted by Ahmadu Bello
University Zaria. Applicants gain admission into 200
level in any of
Nigeria's private or public university that
accepts it as a criteria for admission. The program
is open for courses in Science/Engineering,Social
sciences, Arts and Humanities
The program (IJMBE) as articulated on page 4, item
2.2 of the JAMB brochure, runs for less than a year
during which candidates will receive lectures in
preparation for the final examination(coming up by
February 2015)
During the program you will be groomed
extensively on your subject combinations. The
subject combination is being determined by the
course you want to study in the University(as
applied to UTME). For instance, a student who
wants to study Law will offer Literature-In-English,
Government and Economics/ Business
administration.
The Requirements for the Program is a complete O/
Level Result (Max of 2 sittings) and 7 Passport
photographs.
Candidates with deficiency in Mathematics and
English Language can also apply as they will have
the opportunity of registering for any/both subjects.
With IJMBE, your University admission is
guaranteed simply because provisions has been
made for intensive and effective lectures coupled
with an environment that is conducive for learning.

FUTO UTME MERIT LIST has been released,
and text messages have been sent to successful
candidates via their phone numbers.
(2) However, all candidates can visit FUTO website
to check their admission status as follows:
(i) Go to http://utme.futo.edu.ng/student/
MyResult.aspx
(ii) Enter your UTME (Jamb) Reg. No as it
appeared on your previously printed photo card.
Successful candidates (those who received the
message: "You have been admitted" after entering their
UTME numbers) could proceed to designated banks to
pay Acceptance Fee of N40, 000 and obtain E-Tranzact
receipt, after which they would come back to FUTO
website and follow the below procedure:
(i) Go to http://utme.futo.edu.ng/student/
MyResult.aspx
(ii) Enter your UTME (Jamb) Reg. No as it
appeared on your previously printed photo card.
(iii) Click “Next” button
N.B: If you have been admitted, kindly continue with
the below procedure
(iii) Click on the "Continue to Payment" link
(iv) Enter your E-Tranzact Confirmation order and
Receipt number
(v) Click "Submit" .
(vi) Print out your "Acceptance Form" and
"Admission Letter"
(vii) Keep your "Acceptance Form" and "Admission
Letter" until you receive further instructions from FUTO
website on the commencement of registration exercise
for newly admitted students.
Note, in particular, that you would not receive any

in continuation of the 2014/2015 Admissions Exercise,
the University will start the sale of Supplementary
Admissions Forms on Wednesday, 8th October, 2014.
Interested candidates who made FUTO their first and
second choice University, who must have sat for the
2014/2015 Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation
Examinations (PUTME) in FUTO, and who scored a
minimum of 180 in the FUTO PUTME can now apply
through the following process:
i) Payment of the sum of N7,500.00 at any of the following
Banks using the e-tranzact platform.
BANKS
(a) Diamond Bank
(b) First Bank
(c) Zenith Bank
(d) FUTO Microfinance
Bank
ii) Download and print one (1) Supplementary Admission
Form here
iii) Click here to download the minimum average cut-off
requirement.
iv) Complete the printed hard copy of the form and return
not later than Monday, 27th October, 2014 to the
Admissions Unit, Registry Annex with photocopies of the
following items:
a) E-Tranzact Slip
b) JAMB Result Slip;
c) FUTO Post-UTME Result Slip
d) WAEC / NECO Results
