been super busy but its friday night and am back to my entry. hope i can finish by the end of tomorrow. .
its taking more time because i didnt like my first tests so i decided to break up the symmetry and do each side separate.

My apologies! I just assumed any software that has sculpting features ( modo, Blender,c4d) is optimized to handle very high polygon count.
Seems Zbrush is very unique.
It's still just 32bits and it handles high polycounts better than other 64bit softwares.
It also doesn't need a high-end graphics card to run, unlike Mudbox.

I advice everyone to check out Zbrush

I actually have SCULPTRIS, Zbrush's junior brother but have never really used it. this has been a real eye-opener, smh.

hope this little effort of mine is highly considered....not withstanding the rate of its topological feelings.
i still want to say a big thank you to the organisers and to my fellow great cg Artist/modellers.
it is not over until it is over. ;Djust talking about the animation aspect . thanks once again.

as it stands. will see if i can quickly texture and submit in time. should'nt have left it so late .

Nah! It's been almost 4 weeks for the duration.I'm in the process of compiling on the submissions and presenting to the judges


I would like to congratulate everyone that participated in the challenge. It wasn't easy at all, but kudos to everyone that still delivered
Some of expressed the challenges they faced creating the model but still managed to produce something in the end regardless.
All complaints will be considered when deciding the next modelling challenge ( no anytime soon though)
Any further suggestions to make the whole thing better next time are welcomed.

In the end, the idea of the whole thing is to provide a platform for learning and improving, so whatever subject chosen should always provide a reasonable challenge.

I know I stated at the beginning that the final renders would be presented to Nairalanders to vote, but I think that would be a waste of time.
