KANO State governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has
said that going by the high rate of insecurity and
socio-economic problems facing the country,
President Goodluck Jonathan cannot win any of the
19 Northern states in a free and fair contest in the
2015 general elections.
This is just as Kwankwaso declared his intention to
contest the 2015 presidential election on the
platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to his twitter account, Governor
Kwankwaso said he arrived at the conclusion after
comprehensive survey of the northern states.
He said that his findings indicated that none of the
northern states would vote in favour of President
Jonathan.
The governor, who has expressed his intention to vie
for the 2015 presidential race on the platform of the
APC, expressed disappointment that Nigerians in
their thousands were currently in Niger Republic,
Cameroon and Chad, as refugees.
He noted that a government that cannot guarantee
adequate security for its citizen needed not to be
voted for.
