The Director General, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier-General Johnson Olawumi has warned corps members who procures fake medical report to effect relocation to desist from such act as those caught will be sanctioned and possibly face jail terms.

The NYSC DG who acknowledged the security challenges in some parts of the country, said cases of relocation will be treated strictly on merit based on marital, health and security grounds.

Olawumi announced that the Batch ‘B’ orientation of Corps Members will commence on Tuesday 5th August with 96,000 graduates participating.

He also noted that the Youth Service Corp remains committed to ensuring the development of rural areas in all ramifications.
