I removed iCloud using tool from this site http://icloud.simlockcalculators.com/ . It tooks me about 20 min before I realized how it works but it was worth it.

This is because the original owners enable Find My iPhone and it will lock that specific iPhone with the original owners’ Apple ID account. Or if you find a lost iOS device and want to return it to the owner, you may need either contact number of e-mail id of the owner. However, you cannot access these if the iPhone is locked.
