You're not about to read a sermon, just succinct points.

Myth 1 You're incomplete if you're single.
Truth - God made you and he doesn't do things in bits. He always finishes. If single = incomplete, it means Jesus et al were incomplete.

Myth 2- A man must be the sole provider of the home.
Truth- A man should provide but if he's broke, the woman should be willing to provide if she can without making a big deal about it. Please don't quote 1Tim 5:8. Read the chapter first

Myth 3- A woman's place is in the kitchen and for menial chores
Truth- A woman was created for more than just menial chores. Women have intuitive ability which most men lack. Logical ability (Men's Forte) and Intuition (Women's forte) when combined have greater reach

Myth 4- Being submissive is equivalent to staying in an abusive relationship.
Truth- Being submissive is simply acknowledging a leader and following however it doesn't mean you should continuously remain in an abusive relationship. The first thing is to talk it out and go for counselling. If all else fails, you should take time off from each other.

Myth 5- You have to get married to be fulfilled.
Truth- You don't have to. Marriage is not compulsory. It's not written anywhere that a man/woman must marry to fulfill purpose. Also Jesus and others never got married and yet they fulfilled purpose. Don't let society force you into something you're not ready for or don't want.
