michelism: Please how do I carry out a test on my car to detect a fault? Get a scanning device and scan the car. But I should guess correctly u wont be able 2 do that so u need to meet an automechanic or ask for any mechanic that has a scanner to scan for you and let you know the codes that it brings out . You can google those codes or post it here on nairaland the gurus here will help analysis it and tell you where to go 4rm there. Goodluck but remeber the scanning thing will cost you between N5k - N10K (greedy automechanics) |

If you can't get into reverse . Most likely your gear is gone |
