The world is filled with unique and fascinating places to visit but there are certain places that might not be everyone’s bucket list…Found some of the most crazy, scary and creepy tourist attractions in the world and just a word of warning: These are NOT for the faint hearted!

1. Capuchin Catacombs, Italy.

This macabre burial catacomb in Palermo, Sicily includes over 8000 well-dressed, well-preserved mummies dressed in their finest clothes. The corpses range in date from the late 1500s to 1920 and most were embalmed before their display.Giuseppe Tommasi, prince of Lampedusa and author of the famous Sicilian workThe Leopard, was buried in the cemetery next to the catacombs in 1957.
Visitors can wander through the catacombs' dank corridors among the mummified bodies. The halls are divided intocategoriesthat include: Men, Women, Virgins, Children, Priests, Monks, and Professors (including the famous painter Velasquez). The corpses are dressed insplendid clothes, now somewhat decayed, and occupy their own individual niches according to their social status. Many of the deceased wrote wills that specified the clothes in which to bury them, and some even asked to have their clothes changed over a period of time. Many corpses are still remarkably preserved and some give the impression of enjoying a joke with their deceased friends. Others are not in such good shape, with horribly contented, creepy faces and missing parts like jaws and hands. The last corpse to be buried here was that of 2-year-old Rosalia Lombaro, who died in 1920. She is so well-preserved, she has been nicknamed "Sleeping Beauty."

2. . Avanos Hair Museum, Turkey.

So there’s weird stuff in museums and this museum is one of the weirdest. The dark cake-like museum sits below a potter shop and features thousands of locks of hair.
ver since 3000 BC, Avanos has been known for its high quality earthenware, made from the mineral-richmud of the Red River, but in recent years, the town has mostly been mentioned in relation to a unique hair museum created by skilled Turkish potter Chez Galip. The unusual establishment, located under Galip’s pottery shop, is filled with hair samples from over 16,000 women. The walls, ceiling, and all other surfaces, except the floor, are covered with locks of hair from the different women who have visited this place, and pieces of paper with addresses on them. The story goes that the museum was started over 30 years ago, when one of Galip’s friends had to leave Avanos, and he was very sad. To leave him something to remember her by, the woman cut a piece of her hair and gave it to the potter. Since then, the women who visited his place and heard the story gave him a piece of their hair and their complete address. Throughout the years, he has amassed an impressive collection of over 16,000 differently colored locks of hair, from women all around the world.

3. The Cage of Death, Australia

For croc lovers who don’t want to become lunch, this should definitely be on your bucket list.Located at Crocosaurus Cove in our very own Darwin,The Cage of Deathis a 4cm acrylic box that is lowered into the water, where a feisty croc will have 15 minutes to try to eat you! TIP: Pray that the cage doesn’t break.
Without the cage you wouldn't stand a chance swimming with a massive saltwater crocodile. But for brave punters who still want to get cozy with a feisty croc, a new Australian tourist attraction is offering the chance for a close encounter in the safety of a clear acrylic box dubbed the 'cage of death.'Just 4cm of acrylic, a pair of goggles and a swimsuit, separate thrill seekers from the jaws ofChoppa, a saltwater crocodile. The cage has no bars, unlike cages used in shark dives, which prevent the reptiles from gripping on, but deep tooth scratches are visible on the sides, deterring some hesitant participants. Top End tourists climb into the clear box before being lowered into Choppa's lair. They then spend 15 minutes inside the 9ft high cage and watch Choppa, who lost both front feet while fighting other crocodiles, try to take a bite out of them. The attraction at Crocosaurus Cove, in the heart of the city of Darwin in the Northern Territory, has been given high marks by adrenaline junkies.

4. Cliff Base Jumping (Norway).

Norway has absolutely beautiful landscapes, including crazy cliffs that call to people to climb them and then BASE jump off the top. Here's a look at some of those incredible cliffs, as well as some insanely dangerous switchback roads to get to them in Norway. Thrill seekers, photographers, hikers and climbers take in thesemajestic views of nature. And then, there's BASE jumpers who have a much more extreme need for adrenaline. Charles Lindbergh once said of his adrenaline rush, “It is the greatest shot of adrenaline to be doing what you have wanted to do so badly. You almost feel like you could fly without the plane.” Here in Norway, as if they've turned into Superman, some adrenaline junkies do fly without a plane.

6. El Caminito Del Rey Trekking (Spain).

Adrenaline junkies have been flocking to southern Spain to experience the 110-year-old El Caminito Del Rey. And you don't need to be anexperienced climber either; the only requirements are that walkers should be at least twelve years old and have a good head for heights. The trail, also known as the King's Pathway, was originally built in 1905 for workersto travel between two hydroelectric power plants but was closed-off recently because of too many walkers falling to their deaths.
