Quarantine, in relation to diseases, essentially means isolation of infected victims to allow attention be given to them without risk of the disease being spread unnecessarily. Anything, as long as minimum standards of effectiveness are met, could essentially become a temporary quarantine unit as per the need to localise and isolate infectious diseases.
