last week in school, my lecturer suggested that the name NIGERIA should be changed.
it shocked me a little, because i have never thought of that before.
he gave several reasons; including its origin & d circumstance with which d name was given.
i began wondering if others think same.

The problem with Nigeria is not in the name. The problem is the people. If the name is changes now , will that stop corruption, will that stop tribalism. Afterall NEPA changed to PHCN

It all this Nigerian thing of looking for something to blame. The name of the country is not the problem, the british  are not the problem, the oil is not the problem, .
The problem is the people

Its a pity how dumb nigerian lecturers have become. . . . . . its even more pitiful that they are able to convince adults that nigeria's problems were caused by the name.

actually the name Nigeria though means 'River Niger Area' is actually insulting to us.

That said, renaming alone is not enough.

We need to CREATE Nigeria/Africa for Africans.

lol man i was just being sarcastic, the man behind congo's name change was the one and only mobutu sese seko. name changes are nothing but symbolic, we need policy change not name change.

I neva said 'my lecturer thinks it is d source of nigeria's problem' I wonder how DUMB ADULTS cannot understand what i said.
