The White House and the United States
Food and Drug Administration have
approved the request for sample doses of
experimental Serum to treat Liberian
doctors who are currently infected with
the deadly Ebola virus disease.
According an Executive Mansion release,
the approval was in response to an August 8, 2014 communication sent to President Barrack Obama by President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf in which she requested the experimental Serum to be used on the affected Liberian doctors.
The experimental drugs are to be brought
in the country by a representative of the
U.S. Government later this week.
Meanwhile, the Executive Director of the
World Health Organization, Dr. Margaret
Chan, has authorized the dispatch of
additional doses of the experimental
Serum to Liberia to support the treatment
of affected doctors. The experimental
Serum from the WHO will be brought in by one of its experts later this week.

Well lets requedt other treatments like TKM-Ebola or the one from Fuji alternatively we could use Plasma of the survivors from Liberia who benefit from Zmapp, their blood should contain the antibodies required.

Isn't it a Liberian American who brought Ebola to Nigeria? Then Obama should consider sending it to Nigeria. What is good for Liberia and American doctors should be good for Nigerian doctors.

Hmmmm ....ya'll forgot that Liberia is the 51st state in the Union? They spend US dollars on the street of Monrovia ....in other words, Liberia is still a colony of the United States ....see wetin our useless politicians don cost us. We got the brains, raw materials but we cannot put it to good use. Very sad.

I disagree. The issue is that our government is
never proactive but reactive. The ebola alert was
issued around March and all they did in all those
time was try to secure the borders and even
that, they couldn't do. They honestly should have
seen it coming and started aggressive measures
against combating it. The U.S had isolation units
already in place for even the most deadly of
diseases buh we got ours after the outbreak.
Enough said

I absolutely agree. . . I was reacting to your comment regarding creating a mimic of the USA supposed cure.
