Gen. T. Yakubu Danjuma always held him in high esteem. Maimalari's death (aged 35 years) in the coup of 15th January, 1966 was the main reason for Major T. Y Danjuma's involvement in Operation Aure, on the 28th July, 1966. At the time of his death in 1966, his first child Abubakar was only 4 years old (Born. 1962). 33 years later, Gen. Abdusalami Abubakar rewarded his generosity by appointing Lt. Col. Abubakar Maimalari as governor of Jigawa State, in 1999.


I wonder why they stopped issuing these smart uniforms to the Army? (especially Officer Maimalari's Uniform)

Biggest problem of Africa is this conspiracy theory.
If a black man should invent some virus believe me, if the white man finds out, he will take samples, hold emergency meetings, call his top scientists who can deal witg viruses or what ever biological weapon was invented and they will spend nights upon nights looking for cure , studying it and even improving on it to be deadlier than what was first invented.
But when the reverse is the case, Africa man will just sit down and cry blood and blame America for his down fall. America name don frequent our lips just like devil name frequent guilty people lips.

Bros, slow down. This is an experimental drug. The side-effects are presumably unknown. While it gives a measure of hope, who knows? The side-effects might be worse than the dreaded Ebola itself. Don't forget, there is no such thing as a "free lunch".
