When couples fight, quarrel or separate n decide some time apart or break up, how long or what is the most reasonable time period to think about things while apart? For example a partner decides to stay apart. How long is necessary for him or her to think things through? Could it necessary take a year, months or what? I mean a reasonable time period.

it depends,smtimes it takes weeks months,b4 they come back,and smtimes it takes years and they dont come back
