My observation around ekiti state In the past two years shows that Ekiti state has the highest number of graduates commercial bike riders (olokada ) . Nearly all the commercial bike riders could communicate fluently in English language . Most times when i initiate discussion with some of them am always forced to ask of their education qualification due to the level of their knowledge and understanding about the topic being discussed. Most times , am always shocked to know that they are graduates . In the pace of two years ,have been able to be a bike passenger to university and poly graduates , NCE and OND holders (which constitutes large number of these bike riders). Most times too , ve seen university students in these jobs. That is why most of the politicians in Ekiti state prefer buying motorcycles to giving jobs to the people of their community. The most painful aspect is that Ekiti state graduates are increasing on daily bases without provision for jobs thereby increasing the number of Olokadas in ekiti state . The fear of the governor to sack them in Ado ekiti was one of the major factors that led to the woeful performance of the governor in the governoship election in ekiti state . Ekiti indigines share your view please .

U can as well help the state with rice processing factory as they hav great potential in rice production to take some of the youth out of d ridiculous okada work.
An individual can get dis done for d benefit of man kind.

Uncreative graduates are results of an environment that places too much emphasis on paper qualification. Everybody wants to say 'I go school'.

The average street mechanic is better off in knowledge of vehicle repair than the average mech eng graduate. Who's to blame? The system has made everybody lazy in terms of creativity.

All the same, these Okada riding graduates are better off making a honest living than being criminals.

A mechanical engineer isn't meant to have the same knowledge of repairs like the mechanic.

He isn't trained to repair.
