Though the rewards for academic performance/ incentives are very low, only those who really didn't want to go to school will fall for the schemes you mentioned. I'm of the opinion that students fail cos they read below standard....they stick to their scheme of work for each term and are satisfied (if at all they cover them) instead of going for the syllabus |

I think the govt shld provide proper incentives for academic awards also |
