Do You Think This Is Racism Or Apartheid Thinking? by Ifygurl: 9:01am On Oct 28, 2008 |
I was going through this blog about naija by some Arabs guy(I think, he looks arabs in his picture) and i discovered this in one Abuja apartment Whites-only accommodation in Abuja This ad appeared on the Abuja expats (yahoo group) today: WUSE II 3 bedroom flat for white expatriates only (serviced)- 2.5m payable 2 years service charge 500,000 p.a This is the company that advertised the property and is complicit in an apartheid rental system in town. I got this from this website http://naijablog..com/ Do you think this is right? As we all know Nigerian politicians are letting white SA and zimbabwe into Nigeria as refugees. Do you think they are bringing apartheid to Nigeria with this kind of stuff? P.S: The guy that owns the isn't the one that have the apartment. He was looking for an apartment and noticed it. According to the guy the people that owns this website and apartment are the ones who wrote that http://www.oakrentals.com/ What you think? What's your intake? Racism or Apartheid thinking? |

Blackcat:i agree with this comment, while it doesnt sound appropriate,i think its more of wanting the expat who they believe has money, even prostitutes, hustlers e.t.c all prefer whites of any nationality because of the psyche that the spend foreign exchange much more freely, it happens in the way black and white ppl are attended to in hotels in naij as well |

Gamine: @Gamine, We know it's cheap to you, but please read the post properly : Ifygurl: @poster, I'm not surprised at all. With so many Nigerians subscribing to the "I big pass you" ideology, they are only stating that the "White man is superior to Black man". Of course this is inline with how many Nigerians think. Backwardness with no limits! |
