ceo4eva: DailyPost has just been informed that a South African woman identified as Folswe Elizabeth Maria has just been arrested at the Lagos International Airport after showing signs of the dreaded Ebola Virus Disease.

Operatives at the airport arrested the woman when she disembarked from the Air Morok flight.

After a quick virus test was conducted on her, report says she showed positive result and was immediately arrested. She was from Casablanca in Morocco.

Our Airport source said she was quarantined and taken away almost immediately.

People screaming Liberia! Liberia!!...where is it stated in the post that she is from Liberia? The bolded states otherwise.

You are kidding, right?
Some comes into your country with a lethal biological weapon and you are asking if she's a criminal undecided

fyneguy: Why are they heading to Nigeria?

The same way used cars, AC, cloth (okrika) heads to Nigeria same reasons they all head to Nigeria.
Re: BREAKING: South African Ebola Patient Arrested At Lagos International Airport by Nobody: 8:36pm On Sep 11, 2014
Unless she knowingly boarded the flight knowing that she's infected then she's not a criminal and shouldn't have been arrested.

Arresting her sends the wrong message to others who may be hiding.

What she needs is to b isolated and treated. While that is going on they will need to do contact tracing on her and also monitor everybody that she may have had contact with. It's imperative to know how she contacted the virus.

Liberia has nothing to do with this. She's a Moroccan from South Africa.

The US has asked Nigeria to help her sister countries and to lead the effort. It's high time that we start realizing that this disease is just a plane ride away.

well, the report first said a woman from liberia had been arrested so we all assumed she was liberian but later it was revealed that she was a south african.

Stop being an Eediot!

That you dont believe in God does not make you superior but then, out of crass ignorance, people like you should "educate' yourself a bit before you start commenting on what you have no clue!

FYI: Bible says "give unto Ceasars, what is Ceasars" meaning do "what is necessary, depending on the situation.

Again, the Bible says "WORK, ..and PRAY"..... it did NOT say "PRAY,.. and PRAY"!
Meaning that as "believers", you need to "take practical steps" (work), while also praying!

Our prayers might just be what is preventing "atheist" like you from being the "unlucky one" that Patrick Sawyer decides to "SNEEZE ON",.... on that Flight into Lagos! shocked shocked shocked undecided

Go figure.

The British victim who was saved in an Atheist....

Oh and almost every African death so far has been Christian. Praying doesn't help much. Oh and please don't waste your time or your God's by praying for me. Pray for all of the Liberians and Guineans he's slaughtering.

Where in the article did it say its confirmed she has the virus? What if she has malaria? You cannot arrest someone just for "showing the sign" of EVD without ben confirmed.

What if other nations starts to arrest nigerians abroad because the have temperature? How would you react to that?

the Government should stop allowing flights from liberia, sierra leonne and guinea to enter nigerian airspace. Any body with liberian, sierra leonnian and guinean passport should be sent home if they come in from any other country.

Yeah and everyone from the rest of the world should stop allowing flights from Nigeria and anyone with a Nigerian passport should be quarantined.

Still think that's a good Idea?
