Pretty is "inclined" (but not always restricted) towards facial features. Beauty on the other hand, is the whole package as in, her smile, figure, height, gait, arms, hair, etc. You grab?1 Like |

Also, "Pretty" connotes youth. You can say Pretty girl/teenager. It tells you how "cute" the person is. You wouldn't say a pretty 40 year-old. But you can say a beautiful 40-year old and still sound correct.  "Beautiful" is the highest compliment for physical appearance as it factors the body structure. |

@op Fine girl in terms of facial beauty, body or the whole backage  ? u need to be more specific, that would help us to give u the best answerin my opinion when a guy calls me beautiful he's refering to my body and facial features in other words the whole package .....when a guy calls me pretty he's most likely just refering to my facial features only. 1 Like |
