Should church musicians be compensated for playing in churches? or do you think it's not a proper act?

they should not be paid. They play for God and not the church

grin The churches that use them in the real worship of God do not put them on payroll but they can be given some 'moral support'.
But the business churches have to pay them for several reasons which include;
1. To keep the best ones from going where the pay is better.
2. And most importantly, to be able to be hoodwinking the gullible worshippers. So that they will keep on coming back to that same church.
Its now so bad that different parishes of the same denomination poach musicians amongst themselves.

So why should pastors be paid? Are they not also preaching for god?

The fact is that most churches are raking in huge profits and have no excuse for mooching off volunteers. The only reason they do it is to maximise the money going to the greedy scumfucks at the top. That's why pastors can be living lavishly while the struggling musicians that make that possible not only get nothing, but are taxed out of the little money they have.

Why pay them in the first place? Unlike musicians pastors have biblical backing. From your point of view ushers, choristers, drama unit members, choreographers, tech members, prayer groups, e.t.c. Are meant to be paid ?
