You are a cretinous person!

May the fcking murderous, dumb, person baastard rot in hell as he deserves to.

Sagamite! grin grin

My question actually is; why was he allowed to die a deranged pauper?
The likes of Danjuma and Obasanjo can finance Togo's 2015 budget without dropping a sweat.

don't forget so quickly that one of the main reasons for biafra was the slaughtering of ibos in the north. Brig.Gen Adekunle was just an honourable soldier of FRN.boko haram existed before he got enlisted

I hope there is a secondary school in Ogbomosho they can name after him.
Hopefully the spirit of murder won't possess the kids in the school

So he joined the boko haramic school of (no) thought and gave it more impetus.
No wonder they disgraced him out of the army

Proffdada: all these igbos with their sentiments of losing Biafran war which they started and never planned well. If ojukwu had a brain, he would've played his cards well by diplomatic approach and not resolve to violence which claimed the life of his people . there would've been republic of Biafra that flourishes with milk and honey. but greed crippled his vision. stop talking trash about the late Brig.Gen. Benjamin Adekunle and blame your blind and myopic ojukwu.

Diplomatic Approach? Did you forget Aburi accord? If Aburi wasn't diplomacy, what was it?

And don't forget that it was Gowon who renegaded on the agreements reached at Aburi forcing Ojukwu to war. A war he wasn't prepared for.

And if you have ever read about Aburi, you'll understand that the biafran side were the only side that came to Aburi with a viable and identifiable agenda. which the Nigerian side agreed to most of.

Does that sound myopic to you?

You people are always quick to forget that the first shots of the civil war came from the Nigerian side after gowon ditched the agreements he made at Aburi.

Get a copy of the Aburi accord and read. And you'll applaud Ojukwu's vision and intelligence.

"it is better that we move slightly apart and survive, it is much worse that we move closer and perish in collision" - Ojukwu, 1967

Having already seen the pictures of Benjamin Adekunle in the posts above yours, you still go ahead and ascribe the shooting in the video to him?

Does he look like or sound like any of the soldiers in the video? Why the deliberate misinformation? Are you propagating content you have not vetted yourself?

lionduke: RIP to child killer and murderer of defenseless women, I understand you were doing your job, But the blood of those innocent children will always hunt your generation. please when you get hell, send my regards to awolowo tell him in no distance time obasanjo will join you guys.. tell awolowo the ojukwu was given a state burial which you adekunle can never get. rest in piss general.

So your greatest concern is a state burial by a country that conquered you?

You think Biafra would have preferred Ojukwu's state burial as substitute to Biafran victory?

Do you think the opposite leader of the war, General Gowon, would not get a state burial in a country he ruled for 9years?

Learn to compare like situations and characters. Also learn to weight the importance of a true victory over a consolatory prize.

ProfessorPeter: To me, he is a disappointment. He died as a wretched rat with blood of innocent men, women and children he killed in the name of one Nigeria. When they shared our niger delta oil after the war he was not given anything not even a liter of oil. No political appointment, not even a decent house. I hope he saw T.. Y. Danjuma and others swimming in billions while he lived and died in perjury. Sad end of a mass murderer.

That's how patriots die in this part of the world. He was a soldier not a business man in uniform. He earned his salary while working as should be the case. He did not win battles with oil blocks as a motivator.
He won his battles and become a folk hero amongst his men and was the most talked about soldier of that war, for right and wrong reasons.
No one can beguile him for the soldier that he was.

to those whacks called biafraudians everything is about money. They should get used to the fact that General Adekunle taught Ojukokoro a bitter lesson. He remains a Hero to the Niger Deltans and so he is. Money is not everything.

Don't mind the fools...The ignorant kids don't know that the S.S was dragged into Ojukwu's mess along with other non-Ibo minorities..Was Adekunle worse than Ojukwu who executed his own top commanders? The same ones who planned the brilliant Mid-West invasion in 1967...Adekunle later suffered from PTSD-related illnesses later on into the war..According to Elechi Amadi(The Novelist)..He did not die a rich man...whereas his other peers (Danjuma nd co.) are living like kings with stolen Oil cash...But in all that, He was a brilliant soldier, and more importantly, a true Patriot.

. Adekunle DANCED in front of my family house in Okrika alongside adaka Boro after the biafraudians were flushed out. My granny hold him to esteem. He was a legend and a hero whether the Biafraudians gets over it or not. Ojukwu's case is pathetic. There was this thread on his attrocities in the midwest region.

the funny thing is that Brig General Adekunle in all humility refused such offers cuz of vanity. He's not the greedy Ojukwu that stole money meant for national stadium, a common armed robber most igbos still emulate and carted the money away leaving his people to feed on themselves in overwhelming starvation. igbos should learn from mistakes and not thread in same way. He used his people cuz of their reason for independence, gained from the war. made himself rich. if he was a hero, he would've faced the war squarely. Mandela enjoyed this approach, he was the Hero. and the irony of it all is ojukwu was the first graduate to be enlisted in the army, a gimmick he used to pull wool over his people's eyes

mikeansy: We must be careful how we choose heroes in this country!

Because our choice of heroes reflect the kind of nation we aspire to be!

Seeing that YouTube video above you got to question the mental stability of anyone celebrating this kind of character!

I think you should send your advice to Ojukwu, the narcissistic and bigoted ibo man that started the war. Without Ojukwus madness, there would never have been a war or the great Benjamin Adekunle to put the fear of God into the fleeing womanly ibo leader. Ojukwu is like Shekau, why blame Shekau and glorify Ojukwu? What difference is there between two loonies who have brought killings on thousands? But alas Ojukwu is worse because he alone brought destruction over not less than 3 M Ibos in 2 years 6 months and 9 days while Shekau is still a worthless murderer who is learning from the uselessness of killing other humans glorified by Ojukuw the coward.
