Recently, I came across a statistical analysis put together by a reputable international body which certified that 99% of Nigerians are poor. I don't quite agree with that and my reason is not far-fetched. Most people I know own cars, houses, can afford three square meal(at least), best schools and hospitals (even abroad) , I can go on and on. I will hardly call those ones poor, infact I'll even categorize some of them as rich. Anyway that's for me, what about you? Who qualifies as rich to you? What makes one rich or poor? |
