Imagine an unbeliever who is striving to believe walks up to you and ask you this:

Hey, i need you to clarify something for me. You call God God and Jesus the Son of God....but how do you really know for sure that God is God? That the bible is true? That we are just not being lied to and brain washed? How are you so certain that God is the good guy and not the bad guy? How? Pls my, friend tell me three scriptural reasons why you believe that God is God, the Creator of the universe. Tell me why you believe that we are not being lied to

How do you answer such a question?

It requires faith only, just believe. Faith is for unintelligent people, God loves unintelligent people.

The human desire to worship proves that he is empty and so needs a superior power for a cover. This we cannot deny is inherent in all humans.
Also, for this same reason so many had decided to take up items of worship which is varied and wide. while others settle for whatever, some settled for the One from Whom all creatures draw their living. And whose Words alone had withstood age and time, whose account is true and in which we draw inspiration that God is.

If you're still doubting or outside the gate, come in and try Him, you will testify to others that truly God is.

silly answer.as if christainity is the only religion on earth,there are more than 2000 other faiths I can also stupidly accept with only faith.

1. Fulfilled prophecy e.g: the book of Isaiah prophesied 200 years in advance that Cyrus of Persia will overthrow Babylon as a world power. It happened just as it was written. History has it that when the Jews captive in Babylon showed Cyrus this prophecy he was moved to set them free to return to Jerusalem.

2. Historical accuracy: so many references to dates and times and persons in the Bible have time and again been shown to be true historically and by archeology.

3. Practically valuable counsel: the counsel in the Bible really works. If one truly lives life in accord with the practical counsel found in the Bible, that life would be successful.

4. Coherence and Internal harmony. The Bible took over a thousand years to complete. Without the direction of one Mind overseeing the project, it would have been the most confused, rambling book ever read.

5. Honesty and candour: the Bible shows that it's Author is no respecter of persons. Whenever Bible writers messed up, they were still made to record it for posterity. Most of us wouldn't do this if we had a choice.

6. The mere fact that the Bible, (a book largely penned down by a small, insignificant nation who spent most of their history under captivity from one Super Power to the other) survived all these centuries (almost 5000 years) largely unchanged despite so many attempts to destroy it shows that there was Someone behind it. Where are the books of the Powers that controlled the earth at that time? Babylon. Assyria. Medo Persia.
