Hi,nairalanders. Is it just me observing that mtn daily bis is on a data cap around 50-60mb?

I still used on Friday to download 300 MB of podcast. It should be more than 50 MB except a new development

its 2gb. used it to download 700mb file today. the thing i noticed recently is that they reduced the download speed during the day to maximum of 60kb/s.

Downloaded just about 50+mb data,and now they say i've reached fair usage threshold

Yea I noticed it yesterday, after I downloaded about 100mb, I couldn't do much again, it became super slow, download speed dropped drastically to 1kb/s, thought it was network, re-subscribed today, same thing after 100mb. Too bad

Dis is seriously a fu cked up situation. I just wanted to see if anyone has same problem with the daily BIS on phones sections cos mine terminated after like 100mb. Damn MTN had better nt disrupt one of the last means one has for downloading large files.

same here.. The network is super slow

MTN z stealing from its subsribers... I see no reason Y there isn't a code for cheking our data usage... We subscribers have the right to monitor our data usage, and I see no reason Y we should be deprived of it if there's no foul play.

You're right. Mine also stopped at 96mb and since then the browser has been unable to load any webpage. Opera mini does but slowly.

Yes, I do it with mine. Works seamlessly. No special procedure just power on your hot spot tethering.

I did but it won't browse but when I tried it with Airtel,it browse seamlessly.

Mine won't even open an ordinary web page. Why won't emenike tear his passport, I weep for this country. Citizens are duped in broad day light and our NCC does nothing. First they said it was unlimited daily plan, then it became 3gb and now its less than 300mb. The painful thing is that when u want to subscribe the network responds immediately, but after u have subscribed the network disappears, and yet we are: good people, great nation.

it's better u switch to Glo.
the speed is beyond all complaints. (edge,3g or HSPA+)

I tot I was the only 1 havin dis issue, I called dia cc bt they refused to tell me their data cap, I did 1month bis plan, it lasted for just 4days without downloadin any large file, I did 1day bis today by 12am and by 2am I got a msg dat it has xpired, I only watched two m.j videos on tubidy, I resubscribed by 2am and by 2.30 I got anoda. Msg... Gadamit!!! Pls I wana port to glo or etisalat, who knws dia data caps pls..? Daily and montly caps.. Thanks

I dont know why mtn has chosen to be secretive about their data size,painful enough 1 cant see how much data that comes wit the sub,na to just use blindly and next thing dey say u hv reached fair data usage threshold
