Donfamous: One of the oldest wasys of grinding pepper,
Its so cool and adds some flavour to ur stew, but it seems people are lazy to try this step now, and most of our new generation wife don't even know anything about this, or consider it rather stressful, and primitive.
So have u ever tried it, and when last was it?

You need insult women join? Do you go hunting? Men of those days go hunting to provide meat for their families, they farm and they treck miles and miles to sell yams do men of now adays do it too? Or should we say they are lazy to hunt grass cutters, antelopes and deers but would rather give their wives money to buy cow and goat meat instead.

Usually grind the yellow pepper called 'Ose Nsukka' those days. That was my worst chore, so I prefer to sneak out of the house when my sister is about to start cooking. Chai, sweet memory.

I love using it a lot! My mum has told me that is the first thing she'd buy for me when going to my husband's house cheesy cheesy. But I use it for pepper alone o, not white beans or egusi, who wan die.. cheesy

Most times when I want to prepare correct fried stew for my normal white rice, ofada, bread or yam, for just 2 or 3 mouths,I make use of my olo..I'll grind the rodo and onions alone, making sure they are not well grinded- the inner seeds still visible. I always love the taste! Yummy! Whenever I'm not home, my younger one misses my stew. I use it for efo riro too.

For little pepper like I described above, I don't see it as stress as it takes less than 3mins. But for beans, plenty pepper or egusi, count me out biko.
