1. Don't cross
The crossing days are over, so don't
waste your time. Over the top balls are
the most effective way to create chances
in FIFA 15.
2. Shoot on sight
Keepers are extremely vulnerable at the
near post. Although this could get
patched pretty soon, this is something
that is very effective right now. Keepers
are so unpredictable, so shoot on sight
when in the box.
3. Play in triangles
The beautiful game is back. Fast passing
play is now a key feature and something
that will reward you when done correctly.
Neat little triangles will move you up the
pitch and have your opponent chasing
shadows.
4. Play to your strengths
This sounds like an obvious one but it's
important. If you have an amazing
attack, pick a defensive formation. If
your attack is really good you don't need
to to pick an attacking formation as you
will already be good in that area.
Likewise, if you have an amazing
defence, pick an attacking formation as
you will have enough confidence in your
defence to still perform well. This will also
improve your attack as you will have
more players. It works both ways and is
something players should consider. Also,
it's very rare that a player has both a
very good defence and a very good
attack. It's just not something that you
tend to see.
5. Don't copy other players
This is something you notice at FIFA
tournaments. If a player does well,
people tend to start copying their
formations and in-game tactics. It's
understandable, but what works for one
player doesn't always work for another.
You need to find a team, formation and
tactic that best suits your play style.
