I work in an E&P company. I saw the advert in Tuesday Guardian and threw in my CV! Didn't know anyone.

With good grade, you will get invite (test minimum) for these companies. I have undergone recruitment process of Shell, Chevron, Mobil, Total Upstream, Total Downstream, Seven Energy, All Energy, Oando, got offers from 3 of them, and worked in 2 of them. I didn't know anyone in any of them.

I don't know much about their entry level but I know they pay their experienced hires very well. There was a time they were poaching Oando staff, using money to entice them. And Oando themselves are not doing badly for a downstream company.

Yea... And dey include security, cleaners, drivers, messengers, industrial trainees etc...

My dear, if u wana get in with just 2.1, dat your connection go long pass 3rd mainland bridge... I never say pple its impossible. You must have a sponsor. Datz an alias for a godfather as used in the industry. Even wit a sponsor, u must hav an employable profile (minimum of 2.1), if not "no show"... By this standard, I'm referring to peeps dat read oil and gas related courses... Not management courses.

are we still talking entry level or r u on some oda level

Can any level of salary really be enough foR you compared with what's inside of you Why do people establish businesses, to make profit (according to African mindset) and to achieve this, they need someone to do the work for them (employment) now because of the wrong foundation of their mindset (profit) which is what they are after, they get more interested in their selfish benefits than the welbeing of those doing the job; and after using you, they can dump you at any time and leave you anyhow... I've never seen any man who lived a salary life fulfilled at the end. Don't you think what's inside of you is greater than what anybody can pay you

Sure? I am beginning to think this halliburton Schlumberger discussion for entry level is relative with department, because a very close friend in completions earns around 380k which doesn't include rig allowances. Last time I checked, SLB doesn't pay that much for entry level. So?

Oh well, I am not an authority on this issue so I'd just pass.

Cheers.

Not small at all.

My tax is worst than that. Good thing is that I am taxed on my salary only but not allowance.

I cry whenever I see my payslip cause I pay Rivers state at much as 90K monthly as tax.

35K as tax? Out of 171K? That's around 20%. Ma, don't you think that's outrageous? I stand to be corrected

Dear Entrepreneurship preacher, How long have you ben into business and what is your networth? Why are you preaching like you have arrived? I don't mind getting an Exxon Mobil offer and I get dumped after 10 or 20 years. Yes! I love that kind of dumping, it's good for my health
