There's an Igbo village being built in Virginia. Apparently there were so many Igbo people shipped there during the slave trade that they became a majority, so the site will serve as a homage to those Igbo people.

It's actually a museum piece, so I don't think much events will be held there except demonstrations of 1700's Igbo/West African life.

Thank you for sharing. I would love to visit the Igbo village. California is so far from Virginia & I don't travel by plane.
