The Federal Government on Tuesday released an official figure of 2,000, including security personnel and foreigners, as number of people who had been killed in the last 180 days in the fight against insurgency in the country. The government said it was concerned that such number of lives had died, but added that the operations to “degrade the terrorists command structure to weaken their effectiveness’’ had recorded success...
